บท 215: CHAPTER 215: NEVER AGAIN

'Did he think I was following him?! Is he even worth it?'

Ariana couldn't help but be amused by the man's high ego level. She only wanted to introduce herself modesty aside, no strings attached.

She decided to be kind towards him since he saved her but looks like she'll be having a hard time proving that she was not after him.

"Do you think every woman would scurry in the dirt just to gain your attention? Have you ever considered that you think of yourself too highly?" Ariana wanted to be courteous but he made it impossible for her to be cordial. "I'm sure I will never fall in love with you even if you are the only man left in this world." She sat on the soft couch beside the hospital bed. 

"Prove it." Marcus doesn't believe in women's words. 

"I'll bet my fortune." She raised her brows as she meets his gaze.

"I'm sure you'll go broke in a month then."

"Try me." She smiled confidently.
