Shouko didn't remember what happened afterward. The last memory etched in her mind was when she once again continued crying in Kyoya's arms. She cried until her throat was terribly hoarsened and her tears ran dry. In the end, she fell unconscious.
By the time she woke up, she found her nestled in his embrace, lying halfway on his tall stature. It was difficult for her to open her eyes. The dimness of the room didn't help her sight either.
The dark room was illuminated by a single table lamp beside the bed. She took quite some time to properly discern where she was right now.
Ah, she was still in the blue-painted room. They were currently lying on the boat-shaped single bed.
It might be only a few hours had passed. Maybe, it was the witching hour.
Another chapter for today, so there are four in total ;)
I had to hold back my tears when I was writing these revelation chapters. I had to do the same when I reread them. Especially the parts where Shouko devalued herself and wondered the little things about their son. Kyoya had it hard too.
