The two ladies left the boutique with shopping bags in their hands. Aunt Masako gave all of them to Shouko's bodyguards which they accepted in silence. After that, Aunt Masako dragged Shouko to almost every shop that caught her attention.
"You're going to a care home?" Aunt Masako asked, looking interested.
"Uhuh, it's a bit far from here but if you'd like, we could go there together," Shouko made a suggestion, "If you don't have anything to do this Friday, join me then."
As they were shopping, Shouko shared bits of her new life whenever Aunt Masako asked. She had just mentioned going to visit the children in a few days.
"Ah, unfortunately, I can't," Aunt Masako shook her head in regret, "That Hitoshi guy has invited our friends to gather on that day. But, just ask me the next time you want to go there, alright?"
"Aunt, are you afraid of getting bored?" Shouko laughed.
"Yes~" Aunt Masako replied playfully.
