After Shouko left, Kyoya went upstairs and headed straight to the study. Since he left work earlier than usual, he still had some documents to be reviewed tonight. His jovial mood when his wife was here was replaced by annoyance when he spotted mistakes done by his subordinates.

Once he was done, Kyoya stood up and slowly approached the bookshelf. He tilted one of the book spines. In a few seconds, an entrance was revealed in front of him.

Kyoya was shrouded by darkness as he walked inside the secret compartment. With a single push of a button, the bookshelf moved again and concealed the room from prying eyes.

The study was blanketed in silence.

No one knew what he was doing inside. 

When Kyoya emerged out from the hidden room, it was almost one hour later. With his lips pressed tight into a straight line, he walked toward the working desk to retrieve his phone.
