บท 2: What the hell is this thing. (edited)
The next morning Roran woke up still concerned about the night before.
"I really didn't want to get involved, but after everything Steven and I have been through I can't just say no. I have to get dressed and get going I want to get more of the exterior done on my house today."(Roran)
Roran ate a light breakfast of scrambled eggs and toast. He finished it off with a cup of black coffee. Roran had been working on his house for about five months. It was now August and he like to get an early start on trying to beat the heat and humidity. At 06:00 it was already 87degrees Fahrenheit. Roran had already laid the foundation, framed up all the walls and roof. He even dug out the basement by himself after buying a backhoe and a bobcat tractor. He learned he enjoyed building things, this was the first time he had ever tried to build anything bigger then a bird house. Roran's house was going to be a two story plantation style home on the outside but smaller. He was going to put in three bedrooms, two downstairs and then turn the entire upstairs into a large master bedroom. He would have a large bathroom up there as well. He liked an open floor plan and on the first floor was going to have the living room flow into the kitchen and dining room. He was going to put the two extra bedrooms on the other side of the house next to the guest bathroom. Then he was going to build a large porch that wrapped around the whole house.
"I need to eat. I'm starting to get hungry." (Roran)
Looking at his watch Roran realized it was already 11:30. He decided to go inside and eat some leftovers from the other night and have a beer.
"I need to check the news online and see if Steven's heist has come up yet. While Roran ate he checked all the major and more obscure websites. I can't believe a shootout in broad daylight with multiple casualties and there is nothing. It takes a lot of power to cover this kinda thing up. I wonder who it could be. Maybe the U.S. Government, or a very well connected group. Anyways I'm done eating this." (Roran)
Later that evening Steven called Roran.
"Hey man what's up, you heading back yet?" (Roran)
"Roran listen to me something is up. My team they have all going missing and one was found dead in his apartment. News said it was a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head. I think the only reason I am still around is cause I have been mobile, they can't track me down. Anyways you need to get rid of the box. I don't care how bury it or throw it in the Mississippi River for all I care, but you have to get rid of it. I am in Kansas City now, I am going to sleep in this car tonight and then I'll head back your way. I have been up for three days straight with no rest. Anyways I will see you tomorrow afternoon. Also I am going to get rid of this phone, I don't think its safe to communicate unless in person for now." (Steven)
"That is a good plan, I will keep this one just in case so you can reach me. Tomorrow I will bury this thing somewhere in cement. I will see you later." (Roran)
The next day Roran woke up early planning to bury the box.
"I need to get my backhoe and some tow straps. Lets see if I lift up the box up with the backhoe and wrap these straps around it, I should be able to move the box with no problems. Alright nice and easy this thing is way heavier then I thought." (Roran)
Just as Roran was about to leave his barn with the box his tow strap came undone and dropped the box onto the floor. It hit the ground and the wood broke all over the place.
"Fuck! How heavy is this damn thing? It ripped a tow strap. I got to clean this up and get this thing out of here. This wood is gone now I will have to remove it to get this out of here. After removing all of the wooden box. What is the hell is this thing anyways it looks like a solid slab of metal. Almost like a metal coffin."(Roran)

endless Second Chapter down. I am still figuring out where I want to go with this. I know its only two chapters but I am having a lot of fun writing it. Again Thanks for reading.
Also let me know if you like it better if a say who is saying what first. Im still not sure how I want it to be.
