"Where are you going to when we only just arrived?" Mother Mei asked when they saw Lijuan hurrying down the stairs just few minutes later after they returned from the resort that Sunday evening.

"I want to check on Yun." Lijuan said without bothering to stop as she headed for the door. She had been so bored and lonely seeing how both Rong and Jiaying spent the previous evening with their boyfriends while she had been alone with their mother. So much for a girls' vacation.

"My regards to him." Mother Mei called out with a contented smile as she rested her head on her husband's shoulder.

Seeing how she rested her head on her husband's shoulder, both Rong and Jiaying decided it was probably best they excuse their parents, so they stood up and left for their bedrooms.

"You seem really happy." Chairman Mei observed as he looked down at his wife.
