บท 147: Distracted

Lijuan sat across her therapist, Song Yan as they both made small talks and got to know each other better. 

Actually, Song Yan had been doing most of the talking.

"So I just had to start practicing alone even though I was really well paid..." Song Yan paused when he noticed Lijuan wasn't paying attention again.

"Miss Mei? Are you okay?" He asked flashing his hands in front of her eyes.

Lijuan looked at him with a blank expression, and he could tell she was lost. Something was definitely up with this very interesting patient of his.

It wasn't until he asked her the second time if she was okay that she realised she wasn't really paying attention to anything he had been saying the whole time. Her mind kept drifting far. Really far away. So what had she been thinking about?

'Is Jenny still inside his office?' 

'What is she doing there and why was she coming around Yun?' 

'Did she really want him back?'

'What was she wearing?'
