บท 124: Unexpected Turn

When she returned to the privacy of her room, she leaned on the door frame, her heart hammered inside her chest as if there was a cat and a mouse playing inside. She could not believe he accompanied her until he reached her room.

On the wide hallway a while ago, they discussed topic ranging from the weather, politics, and to his personal life which he willfully shared to her. The conversation was just cut short when she already reached the door to her chamber .

Disappointment hit her as she swiped the key card to the door, cursing inwardly from from the abrupt end of their conversation because the hallway seem so short when normally she would complain how endless it seems when she was rushing.
