บท 26: Anastasia Winter!!
When Edvin came down he noticed a lady with White hair and blue eyes, standing near the entrance, he immediately knew who she was as her disguise couldn't hide anything from him, and when he saw her coming towards him he also went ahead, and as he got close enough he said something in not so loud voice as there were many people present, most of them didn't knew him as he didn't meet with the common folks but the lady in front of him was garnering quite an attention so he had to keep his voice low, "Follow me, it's not the right place to talk." and they went upstairs towards his room while the girl in white followed him silently.
After reaching in front of his room they went inside and before saying anything he placed some kind of barrier to prevent whatever they were going to talk about from being heard by someone.
"Anastasia why are you here, did you ran away from home, did you tell your parents about it?
tell me quick." edvin have already made some deductions for the reason of her being here but still bombard her with questions while she quietly listened and when, edvin stopped talking she replied with her usual tone but this time it wasn't a cold one you can say it was a neutral type. "I can't answer all the questions when you don't even stop asking, Uncle"
"Ok fine I won't ask anymore, now tell me, why are you here?"
"I don't think you don't know about why I am here but if you still want to hear it then, you do know how it is there in my family and my circumstances right now, if I was just powerful enough then I wouldn't have to runaway from home, you do know that if I don't defeat that bastard in the upcoming tournament, then I'll have to marry him and I don't want that, and if I had remained there, those old bastards from the clan would have pressurized my parents to make me marry him even before the tournament, they also tried tk stop me from improving further so that I won't be able defeat him In the tournament. Even though my father is the clan head he can't help me much in this as those old cunning assholes are trying every means to suppress him, those bastards are just afraid of me passing their grand children and become the clan head after my father, that's why they are trying everything to get rid of me, since they can't kill me they are using these despicable means." as she talked she had anger, sorrow and disgust in her voice, but she didn't cry or let her emotions Waiver, instead there was firmness and sharp look in her eyes. If it was any other girl they would have cried by now.
When Edvin looked at her, he felt she was really unlucky to get noticed by that boy and have such a family, in eyes of Edvin that man was not even a boy he was a lustful demon to be more precise.
He sighed and said "you do know that since you ran away, he would now target your sister, and even the elders of your clan may do something.
I and your father are like brothers so of course I'll try to help you as much as I can, but you already know your aunt problems back home so....I." he stopped when he saw Anastasia speak, she said "I know uncle that's why my parents have already sent my sister back to the Sacred Academy and that dickhead or those old bastards can't do anything to her while she is inside the academy and don't worry I won't ask a lot from you as I know of aunt troubles, i just want your help with registration in royal academy that's all."
"Royal academy? why do you want to go in that academy, you already are strong enough that no one can match you In your age group in this continent" but then he suddenly thought of someone and said smiling "ohh wait maybe someone can" he said when he remembered about his son.
"Ohh" she had an surprised look on her face, "well there's always someone more powerful than you and I would like to meet that person and have a round or two since you said he could be my match and the reason for which I want to go to royal academy, is because I got the information that there's a secret ground where there's a tomb of an ancient expert who was an ice elemental user and I need to find it no matter what, even if it may not be true, but I need to grab every chance to get stronger" she said.
'She is so similar to Luke, both are hungry for power hai...are kids really like these days...but there circumstances are somewhat similar too....one is trying to escape from someone while the other is trying to find someone.' he thought.
"Ohh I know I also heard about that rumour too well since you have already decided then, I won't ask any questions, now you can go and rest in upper floor, while I take care of your registration." he said as he started to walk out of the door.
"ohh and you will meet that person soon, then you can have a round or two, I am also excited to see who will win among you." he said as he exited while chuckling.
'Who is the person that uncle is so confident about must be someone quite strong, as uncle evaluation are very tough....anyway now I need to go back and train.' as she was in her thoughts, she heard a knock on the door and a servant came, and led her to the fourth floor.
(Meanwhile In a room on fourth floor...)
Luke was currently laying down on his bed and sleeping with a happy face, as it's been very long since he slept on a real and fluffy bed and also because of the event which happened today he was mentally tired too.
While he was sleeping soundly, he didn't knew that, the red string of fate have already started its work.
