Kuromaru was exhausted. He was on his knees and the only thing that supported him was the War hammer that he was leaning on. The throne or whatever that was left of it was smashed beyond recognition and on the rubble, was the Hidden boss. Its skull, was smashed opened, ribs broken, and limbs crushed.
Defeating this boss was very difficult. But now it was time for the rewards. As its corpse turned into dust, Kuromaru looked at the loot.
There was a small vial containing a blood red liquid.
[ Supreme grade health potion has been obtained ]
'' Nice. '' said Kuromaru.
Then there was that War Axe.
[ Nameless War axe has been obtained. ]
'' Now what is this card like object. '' Kuromaru I inspected a black card that had a knight helmet engraved on both sides.
[ Host has obtained Job c upgrade card ]
[ To access to the Job upgrade function, please crush the card. ]
After crushing the card, a new screen appeared.

[ Upgrade: Tank > Viking ]
[ Proceed to Job upgrade ? ( Y/N) ]
Kuromaru took great precautions at the option he was given. He did not know what a Viking is, but even if he does upgrades his Job, he won't lose anything, because the word upgrade has a very positive meaning in it.

'' Well that a pleasant surprise. '' Kuromaru said. After the new found information, he was introduce with a new word.
'' System, what is this true damage? '' Kuromaru asked.
[ There are three kinds of damage: Physical damage, Magic damage, and True damage. Physical and Magic damage are pretty explanatory. True damage is a kind of damage that bypasses any kind of defense, whether it may be physical defense, or magic defense. ]
'' So basically, it's a damage type that fucks you up no matter how much armour you wear right. ''

With Konohamaru...
Konohamaru dropped into a dimly lit corridor that resembled to that of European castle. The three of them gave a low whistle as the admired the location.
'' This is one cool castle. '' Shiro commented.
'' Look at those Chandeliers. '' Hester pointed at the beautifully crafted chandeliers that was hanging from the cellings.
'' Oi! did you see that suite of armour over there. '' Konohamaru pointed at a statue, fully armoured in Knight's armour. It was covered with dust, clearly showing that it was standing here for a long time.
'' Man this armour looks very sturdy. '' Shiro said.
'' I feel like it's watch us. '' Hester said, as he was getting creeped out by the Armour's visor. It felt like it was staring at him.
'' Yeah, let's go. '' Konohamaru said, '' I don't want to be a slave for that oversized bitch for a week. ''
The left the armored statue and continued walking forward, but little did they know, that from the armour's visor, there appeared glowing red eyes.
As they continued walking, they were greeted with more and more armoured statues, standing in attention.
'' You know what, this is creeping me out. '' Hester said.
'' Something is not right here. '' Konohamaru said.''
'' There is a lot if killing intent comming from those statues. '' Shiro said.
Suddenly, relying on their instinct to sense danger, the three dogged an incoming attack. The floors on which he stood previously, was shattered.
Looking at the assailant, they saw an armoured statue with a halberd. It's visor had red glowing orbs that acted like eyes.
[ You are ambushed by the knight golems ]

Eliminate the Knight golems that stands in your way.

• 300 EXP
• 3 Medium grade health potions.

The other knight golems began to move, armed with their weapons. They immediately charged at them with their weapons raised, ready to kill them.
Taking out the Katanas, Konohamaru went to battle stance. Dodging from an incoming halbreed attack, he activated his skill ' Slash '.
Both his Katana were covered in a grey light, he slashed his enhanced blades at the neck, but it was met with resistance.
The blades just managed to scratch the thick armour.
'' The armour is too fucking thick ! '' Shiro yelled.
'' The Katanas are too light, we need something heavy. '' Hester advised.
Konohamaru snatched the halberd from the knight's hand. Using the heavy weight of the halberd, he swung it at the Knight's crotch. The spike easily penetrated through the armour Pulling it out, he swung it again this time at the neck and finally, with the axe part of the halberd he cleaved through the Knight's skull.
[ You have killed a Knight Golem ]
[ 75 EXP has been rewarded ]
'' You know, that part where sent that spike through its crotch, it was disturbing. '' Hester said to Konohamaru.
'' Complain later, kill them first. '' Shiro said, as he grabbed an arrow flying straight to Konohamaru's skull. It was shot by a knight with a crossbow.
'' Thanks. '' Konohamaru said, as he threw the halberd to the Knight with the crossbow. It pierced through the armour and nailed it to the wall.
Konohamaru then picked up a morning star, the weight was more that the halberd, so he did have a little difficulty to carry it, but he had another idea.
By lengthening his grip on the handle, he began to rotate his body at high speed, which he then threw the morning star at the Knights. Since he was at a corridor, meaning that there was little space to move about.
The Morning star, crashed towards the groups of knight's killing most of them. There were only 80 or less knights left, and since most of them were still recovering from the previous attack, Konohamaru took a Zweihänder and launched his attack.
All three of them shared consciousness and went on a killing spree. Konohamaru attacked, Shiro scouted for surprise attacks and Shiro shielded them by blocking any attack that either of them could not block.
( 10 minutes later )
Konohamaru, Shiro and Hester were panting for air as they were lying on the floor in exhaustion.
'' That spiked club was too fucking heavy. '' Konohamaru complained.
'' Well atleast we killed them all. '' Shiro pointed at the corpses of the Knights that was lying everywhere.
'' I want to go home already. '' Hester whined. Konohamaru was about to shut Hester up when his vision was blinded by a number of floating screens appearing before him.
[ Quest completed ]

As Konohamaru saw this long list of notifications and he smiled at this. The pleasant feeling of experience entering through one's body, caused him to sigh in satisfaction.
'' It was worth it. '' He said with a smile. But his smile did not last long.

Konohamaru got back up to his feet with the Zweihänder on his shoulders. '' Let's get this party started. ''
