บท 141: Zero Time

After catching up and feeding my mother, she gets right to business. "What do you know about your father and brother's disappearance?" I bite the inside of my lip as I say "More like kidnapping but... not a whole lot." 

She frowns in concern as I quickly say "Okay, when the evil hooded demon came in here and... you know... well, Dad and Liam went missing that very same day. A shifter traced the tracks all the way into the woods before it disappeared altogether."

My Mom quickly glances at Kian before awkwardly clearing her throat and saying "The shifter that I ran into that night when.." I quickly cut her off and say "Yes. that one." Kian's jaw pops before he decides to walk to the kitchen.
