บท 209: Confessions

Remus took a turn as Lillian and Roman followed after him. He tapped on a section of the wall to open up and close before he began his story again. 

"I was shoved into a room where the kid I met was standing beside an old man everyone addressed as the king and the head of that place.

"I looked up at the old man, having never seen someone so dignified before as I was escorted inside. 

"The guards were brought with me at first, but they suddenly stopped, for some reason. I learned later that the king glared at them so they stopped." Remus chuckled to himself as though remembering the exact moment that happened. 

"I thought the kid had told them and that I was going to get in big trouble, even losing my life. But ... what I heard was something else. 

" 'Is this the slave you want?' the caretaker asked, scrawling at me. 'We have better ones, your highest the crown prince.'
