"I don't believe I have heard that name before," Lillian said, thinking. "Do you know that place he comes from?" 

Ray shook his head, "He is a nobleman, that's all I know of him. He is very secretive after all. He gave us education enough to rival with the nobles here."

"You must hold him very highly," Lillian said placing her hand on his shoulder. 

"I did. But he always told us not to hold too tight to something and the day he didn't come back, I understood what he meant." Ray smiled at Lillian, "Life is unpredictable and that is fine. People come and people go. But their memories remain." 

"Right." Lillian said, "So, it's ok to want good things. Remember that Ray." 

"I guess. I'll try anyway. Now, about the Twosurge family."

"I almost forgot about that." Lillian said with a laugh, "Are they another member of the family quarrel?"
