บท 112: Are You Alright?

Jake watched Ilyan's quiet figure sitting on the cliff top as he stood a little distance from him. It had been a while since Ilyan had brought the car to a halt near the deserted cliff. 

Ilyan's knees were drawn closer to his chest and his hands wrapped around them as he slowly rocked himself back and forth.

Jake's clenched fist refused to let his stiffened fingers relax. He took a step in the direction of Ilyan but found himself pulling it back the next second. 

"Go home, Jake. I'll come back later."

Jake heard Ilyan's emotionless voice. "No, Sir. I'll stay," Jake refused to leave Ilyan alone in that condition though a part of him was being selfish knowing he was not in the state to face Christina without breaking down in front of her either.
