บท 1: Prologue: The Demon

Sprawled out upon a hill, making it nigh impossible to see the grass underneath, where hundreds of thousands of dead Soldiers. Of particular note was the man that was on his knee on top of the hill. At first glance, it seemed that he was on a hill but upon closer inspection, you could see glimmers here and there from the armor of the dead Soldiers that had formed up to create the hill.

The man on top of the hill had on silver armor that gave off a slight white aura and on each shoulder had the figure of a dragon's head. On both sides of the chest and at the stomach, five intrinsic circles were placed within each other like a Matryoshka doll, forming an upside-down triangle design.

In his right hand was a long spear-like weapon, matching the figure's height at six feet. Instead of having just one blade, the spear had blades that were two feet long on both sides of the shaft. Both blades were single-edged and had an aura that surrounded them. On one end, a red aura gave off the feeling of being in the southern deserts while the other gave off a blue aura that made you feel as if you were in the frozen lands in the north.

if one made a closer inspection upon the man who was on his knees, one could tell that he was not human. From his forehead, the two horns sprouted upwards, eight inches in length, marking him as a demon. On his back, one leathery wing was drooped and had multiple holes in it. The other wing had already been cut off. His eyes, barely visible with his drooping eyelids, were stormy grey.

If someone saw him right now, they would wonder how he was still alive. His left arm, from the middle of the bicep, was cut off. Everything underneath his right knee was missing. There were tens of arrows that poked out from his back as if he was a porcupine.

"Haa... I sure caused a mess, didn't I? Haha. at least I don't have any regrets about leaving this cursed life….. I've finally avenged you, Chrystal…... Ahhh... Why am I so tired. I'll just shut.. my eyes.. real quick .."

As if in defiance against death, the figure refused to fall to the ground. As he said his final words, the demon's eyelids fluttered a couple of times before finally he took his last breath and closed his one for the final time. What greeted him then was a peaceful rest.

During that time, his spirit floated around in the darkness. He couldn't tell how much time had passed, but the feeling of being relaxed and calm was a new and pleasant feeling for him and he hoped he could stay here forever. But alas, it would not be so.

One day, while he was just floating around, he felt his spirit being pulled away. Struggling to stay in the darkness, he feels himself pulled and suddenly bright lights surrounded him.
