''Are you willing to listen now?" Maxim asked when Louis' movements gradually slowed down and he stopped struggling further. 

Louis looked at him, bewildered, ''What are you talking about?" 

Maxim nodded at Alex. 

Alex and the other nurses who were holding Louis down slowly released. Still gauging his expressions, they stepped back from him. 

Seeing that the man seemed to be more composed than earlier, Alex sighed in relief and briefly narrated the incident of his own surgery to him. Afraid that his words would be too shocking, he even toned the information down. 

Louis leaned back on the hospital bed, his gaze shifting between Alex and Maxim. 

''You mean... Dr. Rick left? Without operating on me?" he asked after a few moments.
