"I've never seen you. Definitely not!"
When he heard Luo Moling's question, Fatty denied it at all costs. What a joke! If Luo Moling knew that he was living next door, she would probably kill him right away.
However, when he denied it, Luo Moling and Fated Sky were confused. Her bust size could indeed be figured out by sight, but Fatty even knew what kind of undergarments Luo Moling liked and also that she liked to take a shower in the afternoon. What was going on?
Although Fatty later babbled some nonsense, Luo Moling could basically be sure that Fatty was spouting nonsense. However, this was the problem. If he had been spouting nonsense, how could he explain the things he was right about?
To dispel Luo Moling's doubts, Fatty explained that most girls, especially pretty girls, loved cleanliness. White naturally represented cleanliness, so it was only logical that she liked white undergarments. Such a pretty girl would normally take care of her figure, as most girls would exercise to maintain their slim figure… As for why she liked to take showers in the afternoon, Fatty attributed this to the hot weather. He said that it was easy to sweat in the afternoon, so taking an afternoon shower was normal…
This was the power of language. If he mixed lies with the truth, he could make the person who considered something true not question his lies. Similarly, he could also confuse those who didn't believe something because of the truth within.
Of course, Fatty didn't realize this. In the beginning, he had just let Wind Drifting believe his words. Therefore, he had said everything that he knew about Luo Moling's life from the four years she had lived next door. However, later on, he'd realized that he only knew a little bit. Since he had already spoken, he'd started to get full of it and continued spouting nonsense, creating this half-truth, half-lie situation.
Luo Moling finally believed his explanation, thinking that Fatty had made an inference based on the behavior of most people. Thus, she didn't ask anything else.
The only thing that angered Luo Moling was Fatty's last sentence!
This bastard had actually said that Luo Moling was pregnant! He had even said that he was not ready for fatherhood! He was simply destroying the reputation of a pure girl!
Although the words he had said before had been ordinary, with his last sentence, he had simply taken advantage of her!
This whole thing had been caused by Luo Moling, who had casually found a shield. At this thought, she felt as if her head might explode. Why did she have to find this guy?
After understanding Fatty's shamelessness, Luo Moling sincerely regretted this… This was akin to digging a hole for herself and allowing this guy to take advantage of her…
"Let me tell you something! This isn't over!" Luo Moling looked at Fatty fiercely, but only Fatty knew how useful such a threat was.
He replied, "Do you still want to join the party and enter the dungeon?" By asking this, he easily diverted Luo Moling's attention.
"Yes! Why wouldn't I?" Luo Moling gritted her teeth and added, "If you dare to bluff again, I will… I will…"
She didn't manage to finish her sentence because she'd suddenly realized that she was in the game so she couldn't take revenge on Fatty. In reality, she might have been able to use her self-defense skills to kick Fatty's balls as a way to vent her anger. However, this would be PK in the game. Given Fatty's shamelessness, Luo Moling simply wasn't confident. She didn't know if this guy would use this chance to counterattack her…
He definitely didn't feel any pity for her…
What a headache! When Luo Moling faced this guy, she felt a deep sense of helplessness.
When Fatty re-added Luo Moling to the party, Crayon Knife, whom he had ordered to buy Speed Scrolls, returned.
"I bought them! They were really damn expensive!" As soon as he met Fatty, Crayon Knife complained. "The NPC store is simply committing daylight robbery!"
"Give the scrolls to me!" Fatty responded.
"They are not for me to use?" Crayon Knife was immediately stupefied.
"Who said they were for you?" Fatty asked back in confusion.
"Then… Then why did you only give me four Silver Coins and told me to buy five scrolls?" Crayon Knife asked in a daze.
"Do you even need to ask?" Fatty replied gloomily, "Didn't you say that you had one Silver Coin?"
Crayon Knife's cheeks glistened with tears. At the time, he had thought that one Speed Scroll would be his after he bought them. In that case, it wouldn't matter that he had forked out one Silver Coin. However, he hadn't expected that after buying it and reporting back, he wouldn't use it. He'd really had to fork out one Silver Coin besides running so far to buy the scrolls…
"Brother Chicken, I realize that you look like an old landlord!" Crayon Knife said tragically, "You're exploiting me!"
"Don't worry!" Fatty consoled him. "As long as you clear the dungeon, you can earn back your money!"
While Crayon Knife was feeling miserable, Luo Moling and Fated Sky were dumbstruck. The cold expert's image had instantly collapsed in their hearts…
There were now four players in the party, which was short a healing Dark Mage.
During the early stage, the Dark Mage was better than the Prophet in terms of healing. Although the Prophet had a Healing Ward, this regenerated HP by percentage. When everyone's HP was low in the early stage, the Healing Ward's restoration effect was simply not much.
Therefore, Fatty shouted and added a Level 12 Dark Mage to the party.
"Alright. Before we enter the dungeon, I still need to ask something!" Fatty said. "Fated Sky, how many are your armor points? What about your health? What skills have you learned?"
"Attack 48, Armor Points 76, HP 325. The skills I have are Cleave, Rune Crafting, and Crippling Strike!" Fated Sky replied, feeling pleased.
"Oh! That's not bad!" Fatty said in shock, "You have learned the skill that can be learned at Level 13. Your armor and health are high enough, and you also have Refined Rank equipment, right?"
"He he… that's right!" Fated Sky nodded his head as he spoke. Such a Death Knight was a target many parties fought over.
"What about you?" Fatty turned his head to ask Luo Moling.
"I don't have to talk about my armor and health, right?" Luo Moling rolled her eyes and said, "I've learned the Flaming Imp and the Incinerate skills. I've also brought two Clarity Potions."
Fatty couldn't help but silently nod his head. It seemed that Fated Sky and Luo Moling were high-end players, as they were well-prepared.
"My attack is 46 points. As far as skills are concerned, I've learned Slash and Backstab!" Crayon Knife said, feeling somewhat embarrassed.
The Dark Mage player that Fatty had added afterward was called Snail of Darkness. Upon seeing everyone looking at him, he said nervously, "My mana is 310 points. I've brought a Clarity Potion! As for my skills, I've learned Dark Origin and Dark Sorrow."
It seemed that this Dark Mage player might have cleared the dungeon with other parties. He knew what to say regarding his stats. Because healers were at the back most of the time, they needed to pay attention to how much their mana was. Although this player had brought a Clarity Potion that added 100 mana points, it might not be enough. However, this showed how well-prepared he was!
This party was much stronger than the previous one. Death Knight Fated Sky was not bad. A good main tank could decrease the difficulty of the dungeon. Hence, Fatty grandly waved his hand and said, "Alright then. Let's go!"
"Hold on!" Everyone froze. Luo Moling quickly said, "You haven't reported your stats!"
"Me?" Fatty blinked and replied, "I don't need to report mine, do I?"
His innocent tone angered Luo Moling. Who was he? He clearly wanted everyone to report their stats. Although it was now his turn, he pretended to be bashful…
"Alright, alright. I'll report them!" Upon seeing everyone get angry, Fatty could only answer, "My HP is 280, and I've learned the Miasma, Poison Sting, and Poison Crafting skills!"
"280 HP?" Fated Sky and the rest were stunned. After calculating for a bit, he added, "You add one point to your Constitution at every level?"
"Yes!" Fatty answered.
"What kind of method is that?" Luo Moling couldn't help but laugh as she said, "You belong to the magic class! Other Venomancers would have added points to their Intelligence and Spirit!"
"What do you know?" Fatty retorted right away. "It's my business how I add the points. Don't compare others to me!"
"You…" Luo Moling immediately became angry.
Among everyone, only Crayon Knife stood up to speak for Fatty. He said, "Stop arguing, guys. Brother Chicken is an expert. His method of adding points is naturally different from other people's methods!"
"He is an expert?" Luo Moling's mouth twitched disdainfully but she didn't say anything else.
They understood what they needed to know, so everyone once again entered the Bandit Camp Dungeon.
Each player could only enter the same dungeon three times at most, which was a small restriction of the dungeon. However, they had yet to reach that limit as a party.
Now that it was night in the system, it was so hazy in the dungeon that it was hard to see in the distance.
After they experienced the Undead Thief NPC who was chased again, the dungeon battle finally started. Fated Sky was indeed incomparable to Bookworm. He didn't rush to provoke the three Human Thieves. Instead, he waited for Luo Moling to summon the Flaming Imp. By making use of the range flame arrows, each of them was drawn over and killed one by one. Therefore, after easily dealing with the three Human Thieves, he hadn't lost much health. He didn't need to sit on the ground and rest to regenerate. Thus, they proceeded.
The three Human Thieves dropped a Cloth Boot Crafting Blueprint. Since he hadn't joined in, Fatty didn't obtain many Party Contribution Points. Furthermore, he didn't want to use the 20 additional points of the party leader to snatch the blueprint. He could only allow Luo Moling and Snail of Darkness to choose. In the end, the blueprint was purchased by Luo Moling.
Moving on, when they once again arrived where the Forest Wolves gathered, Fatty realized that these Forest Wolves were the same as the previous time. They were sleeping deeply.
Luo Moling wanted to command the Flaming Imp to draw the wolves away, but Fatty stopped her.
"Don't alarm the wolves. We should be careful. We'll directly go around them and move out!" Fatty said.
"Why?" everyone asked in confusion.
"Although these wolves provide a lot of EXP, there are too many of them. We'll spend a lot of time killing them and they will only drop some forging materials, so it is meaningless to kill them!" Fatty explained. "Since it's night time, if we go around them, we can accelerate and clear the dungeon faster!"
"This way…" Fatty said pleasantly, "After we clear the dungeon, we might make the top ten of the leaderboard!"
