บท 14: troubles of brother and sister
having been locked in the palace with heavy guard, Azula and Zuko had made themsleves acustomed to the daily life style... of being spyed on by the servants, with strange expressions... on their faces...
Azula looked towards her moping brother and sighed...
"what are you so glum for?"
Zuko blinked, and his eye brows furrowed "its due to our weakness that our brother is forced to go to war!"
his fists were clenched as he glared at his sister azula....
"we have a roof over our head, food at the table, it could be worse, besides, if we are not careful we could be locked in the dungeon, so keep your mouth shut."
she continued on... "Nii-san will conquor ba sing se, and return to us. oe way or another. and now we owe it to him, to keep ourselves safe. and to become stronger.... we are nothing but a burden right now..."
hearing this Zuko Nodded, finding resolve he didnt know he had...
"i want to duel Ozai."
hearing this, Azula looked at him, as if he was the stupidest person in the world....
"who do you thiink you are? what do you think we currently are? i just said, it, we, are, weak, compared to our father, ozai who is the second most talented and second strongest fire bender, in the all the fire nation. the only one who can beat him in a duel, is proably our uncle iroh, and for certein, our brother karna. someone as weak as you, who cant even master the duel blades wont even be able to hold a candle to our father, or his monstrous brutality."
hearing this, she grabbed some grapes and began to eat them....
as she laid upon the finely crafted silk sheets, and bed...
he now had an even worse expression on his face... as tears began to fall from his face...
"dont you understand, our brother right at his very moment is fighting for us, taking the lives of husbands and wives, perhaps even children, all for us!"
he shouted at azula, whos expression turned cold...
"of course i know, thats why we have to keep ourselves safe! i cant believe that we are even related! and i dont know why you get so much attention from him either!"
her voice was full of jealousy and hatred... if only he didnt exist, NIi-san will be all to myself!
she thought this viciously... as she began to shake in anger...
but quickly calmed down.... and her thoughts returned to normal... in a manner...
Nii-san is mine! ill marry him when i come of age! but first i, we, must survive this place! and i wont let this stupid little brother of mine, get in the way of that!
she sighed inwardly, unsure of how to make her little brother listen to her, than an option came ot mind...
she jumped off the bed, and kicked Zuko, across the back of his head, while he was sitting in the chair, and than watched as he fell unconcious....
'ah.. much better....'
