บท 142: EPISODE 142: A Professional Match!
On previous events, Scyther has agreed to evolve into Scizor, after losing against a Pokemon Bug Catcher named Joey. Now, the festival will soon begin, after this day, the festival will commence!
"Now... if you want the perfect gift for Kalem, you have to choose one coming from your heart," Zhery suggested while walking around the plaza.
"Coming from my heart... how can I think of something like that?" Camellia questioned.
"Huh... ha! Hey, Zhery! Camellia!" I waved from the distance and called their name. The match between me and Joey has just finished that time at the plaza.
"Gcck! Um... Kalem, Glade... what are you doing here?" Zhery questioned with a crocodile smile.
"Look, I evolved Scyther into Scizor! Then, we battled a bug catcher named Joey!" I beamed with excitement.
"Oh? How nice, me and Camellia we'll be going now."
"Going? But... where are you going?" Glade questioned.
"To the... um, the Pokemon Mart! Camellia has to buy notebooks for her projects and stuff like that."
"Right right right!" Camellia smiled as a worried mood surrounded her.
"Pokemon Mart... but shouldn't you be heading to the left, in order to reach the Pokemon Mart?" I questioned.
"Gcck! We wanted to um... take a stroll as well, so we decided to take the long-cut." Camellia explained.
"The long-cut? But it's a dead-end over there. There's no way going to the Pokemon Mart through the right." Glade wondered.
"How do these two know about the town!?" Zhery badgered at her mind while thinking of other diversions and excuses.
"Because... we also needed to, um visit some houses." Camellia excused with a worried mood.
"Visit some houses... why would you want to visit some houses?" I questioned.
"It's because! You won't understand, that's why me and Camellia will have to go. You guys always have dozens of questions." Zhery uttered with frustration.

From the distance, a lass about the same age as me, black hair, and white clothing, approached me and my friends, she seems familiar to me, it was like I've met her somewhere before.
"Ah haha! It's Kalem..." The young lass beamed with excitement and scrambled to me.
"Um... ok then-"
"Kalem!" A familiar voice interrupted from behind. I looked behind me and saw a lass about the same age as me.
"U... Um, do I know you?" I questioned.
"What kind of question was that!? I remembered you and you don't remember me?" The familiar lass infuriated.
"Sorry... Now I remember you."
"Wait, Kalem... you know that girl?" Zhery questioned.
"Yes, her name is Amirah, she's the daughter of one of my father's friend." I introduced.
"See! I knew you still remembered me." Amirah squinted her eyes and smiled.
"Yeah... yeah, aren't your parents around?" I questioned.
"Nope! I'm on my journey to become a Pokemon Professor just like my dad, and you?" Amirah questioned.
"My dream is to become a Pokemon Master, these are my friends Glade, Camellia, and Zhery!" I beamed with enthusiasm and introduced my friends.
"Great! So where do you want to go? I've heard that there are some food stalls nearby." Amirah smiled and questioned as she grabbed my hand.
"Sorry, but Kalem is fully booked!" Camellia beamed with frustration and went between me and Amirah.
"Fully booked? Oh really? Hmmm..." Amirah questioned sarcastically.
"You heard it! The four of us are headed to the Pokemon Mart." Camellia explained.
"Um... I thought that it was only you and Zhery?" I questioned.
"Gcck! Change of plans, you're coming with me and Zhery!" Camellia instructed.
"Oh no... here we go again!" Zhery sighed and facepalmed.
"You can do that by yourself right? Or do you need some road directions to the Pokemon Mart cause you're blind?" Amirah giggled and talked sarcastically.
"Why you!?" Camellia's spirit filled with frustration and anger.
"Come on Camellia, calm down." Zhery consoled.
"Ok, since we're done here, where do you want to go Kalem?" Amirah smiled and questioned.
"Go!?"
"Yes! We're the children of some of the most famous professors. It's been four years since I last saw you." Amirah beamed with joy and grabbed my hand again.
"Hey wait! Kalem, is going to the Pokemon Mart with us!" Camellia infuriated and grabbed my other hand.

Camellia and Amirah infuriated against each other as they pulled my hands. "Can you two stop pulling me!?" I begged.
"I could, but your friend over here keeps on hesitating!" Amirah infuriated.
"Friend!? I'm Kalem's best friend and his first friend! We've met since preschool you know!" Camellia infuriated.
"Well yeah? My father is friends with his father... is your father friends with his as well? Hmm?" Amirah questioned sarcastically.
"Hmph! Come on Kalem... we have to go to the Pokemon Mart!" Camellia instructed.
"No, Kalem is coming with me! He can follow you later anyways." Ties between Camellia and Amirah intensifies as both of them glared at each other.
"Hey stop fighting, we can all go to the food stalls together after going to the Pokemon Mart." I consoled.
"I've heard that there's a rare Pokemon near the food stalls, if you come... I can show it to you." Amirah tempted.
"Well yeah!? There are more rare Pokemons near the Pokemon Mart!"
"Keep your tone down, I'm a future professor!" Amirah infuriated.
"You're the one who should keep the tone down! I'm also aspiring to become a Pokemon Professor you know!?" Camellia infuriated.
"Well yeah!? Prove it then... what's the basic structure of matter?" Amirah quizzed.
"The answer is obvious... it's atom!"
"Hmm, about the Chemical symbol of Carbon?"

"Mr.Fuji from Lavender town of course!"
"Woah... you're good, but Kalem's still coming with me!" Amirah giggled and pulled my hand.
"Glade help me... there must be a way to settle this fight," I begged as Camellia and Amirah pulled my hands.
"Um... why don't we have a Pokemon Battle. Whoever wins, will be followed." Zhery suggested.
"Oh it's on! I accept the challenge." Amirah agreed as she glared at Camellia.
"Bring it on, you've messed with the wrong future professor!" Camellia agreed as she glared back at Amirah.

"This is a one on one Pokemon Battle!" Glade announced.
"We know!" Amirah and Camellia infuriated as they held their Pokeballs tightly.
"What's gone into Camellia? I don't remember her being this angry before?" I questioned while watching the match.
"Um... Let's just say, it's a girls talk again, hehe." Zhery uttered with suspiciousness.
"Let's finish this quickly, Absol let's go!"
"You've got an Absol? I've got a Shiftry!"
Both trainers tossed their Pokeballs to the sky. "BATTLE BEGIN!" Glade proclaimed.

"Now continue Slash, then follow it up with Leaf Blade!"

"Well yeah!? I evaluate that you have a filthy attitude!" Camellia infuriated.

"Shiftry dodge then use Slash!"
*Shiftry was able to dodge the attack! Slash dealt maximum damage!*

*The minor earthquake caused by the Crush Claw sent Shiftry blasting back.*

"The winner is Camellia and Absol!" Glade proclaimed.
"Hmph! You may have won, but I won't forget this!" Amirah infuriated.
"Hehe, I guess Kalem is going with us!"
"Yeah... yeah, Kalem can come with you, I'll be training hard so the next time I see, I'll be able to defeat you!" Amirah infuriated and raged quit.
"Hey wait Amirah, where are you going?" I questioned.
"Hee hee, I'm going to train some more. It was nice meeting you Kalem, I'll be going now!" Amirah smiled and waved goodbyee.
"Alright... I guess we're going to the Pokemon Mart right Camellia?"
"Gcck!? Um... Never mind, me and Zhery will go instead. Hehe." Camellia suddenly remembered her purpose in the Pokemon Mart as her mood quickly changed.
"Wait, first you wanted us to come and now not?" I questioned.
"Well... Um, hehe." Camellia uttered with worry as a sweat droplet fell off of her face.
"Camellia, we have to go now... Remember?" Zhery recalled.
"Oh right! Goodbye, for now, Kalem, me, and Zhery will be going to the Pokemon Mart!" Camellia greeted and rushed off with Zhery.
"What's up with those two?" I questioned.
"Eh? Let them be, they're unpredictable. Come on, we still need to find gifts remember?" Glade recalled.
"Oh right! But... shouldn't we be heading to the Pokemon mart?"
"Um... right, but let's just go to the department store instead."
"Aren't they the same, except that the department store is bigger?"
"Like what they say: Bigger is better, now come on! There's no time to lose!" Glade beamed with excitement and dragged my hand.
