บท 487: The True Hybrid

CHAPTER 487

The heavens roared in anger. They had lost to a mere mortal being. That was supposed to be the ultimate and make her lose but she manage to trick them in turn.

THUNDER!

BRAAAAAGHHHH!

Everyone bent down, closing their ears for what they were worth as more and more thunder strikes erupted around Astrid.

Even with the frightening uproar of things, she did not flinch. This time around she was ready for them.

It was as though they were mad at her for tricking them instead of the other way round and was ready to unleash their wraths in magnitude.

Astrid closed her eyes, recalling the sweet memory of the one she held dear. It had been some time since the last time she thought about him and right now, she recalled how he gave her strength and supported her through all of her endeavours.

So rather than focusing on the angry gods up ahead, she reminisced painful sweet memories and derived strength from there.
