CHAPTER 151 – PAINFUL PAST 1
White-Fire glared at its mate and ignored White-Wing once more. White Wing wanted to retaliate but decided against it. After all, it was between both of them.
"You are just scared that talking with her would melt your walls and make you forgive her. But in actual truth, you holding to that hatred is your way of being strong and not missing her. I do not want you to live that way grandfather. She would not want that as well."
After speaking, White-Fire turned around and walked away.
"Where are you going?" White Wing asked.
"To check up on her," it replied and left the two bigger beasts alone.
White Wing looked sideways where the Elder stood and was about saying something, but when he noticed the solemn look it had, he kept quiet.
Its eyes held so much pain in them. White Wing could sense, that its mate touched a very soft spot in the Elder's heart.
