บท 3: Boss Room
I was sitting on the floor panting heavily while looking at my chest seeing the mark is almost non visible now.
"Does this mean my summon upgraded to a D rank monster?" I said to myself.
I looked at the monster beside me and it did look bigger and stronger than before.
I was able to reorganise myself rather quickly as I have more stamina than when I first came in here.
I tried to use a few of the magical cores on myself earlier but didn't really notice much of a difference so I stopped and continued giving them to my summon.
"I wonder if I could ride him?" I said while looking at his size which is close to a tiger now.
After walking for a few minutes we finally reached the boss room.
Sure we just defeated all of the monsters in this dungeon but it's the boss monster.
I looked at my summon and regained some of my confidence.
"Fine, lets go." I said while pushing the door open.
When I entered I saw a creature that looked like a wolf but was several times bigger.
"Ok, if me and my summon attack it we can win." I said to myself while getting ready to order my summon.
Just as I was about to start running towards the monster I noticed a few silhouettes coming out from behind it.
"Shit!" I said while stopping and running back towards my summon.
I looked at the monsters that just appeared and noticed they were other wolves just a smaller version than the boss.
I ordered my summon to distract the boss while I went to try take care of the few smaller wolves.
Just as I was trying to sneak towards one of them it heard me and howled notifying the other wolves of my location.
"Shit" I cursed when i saw that three wolves were surrounding me.
I looked at my blade which had a lot of chips but was still sharp.
I ran towards the closest wolf getting ready to slash at it. I slashed my knife towards its face but it dodged and I only cut one of its eyes.
"At least it's lost some visibility I guess." I said while getting ready for our next clash.
I looked around me and saw the two other wolves were getting closer.
As I rushed towards the wolf I saw it bare its teeth in an angry manner because I cut its eye.
I started running towards the wolf and it started running towards me as well but I ran on the side of the wolf that had it eye cut.
It brought its claw towards my stomach but because of its cut eye it's accuracy was lowered and it only cut my stomach slightly.
After it attacked me I then turned around and slashed my knife towards its stomach.
My blade made its way into the monsters stomach.
At this point I could feel a sharp pain coming from where the wolf slashed at me with its claws but I tried to ignore it.
I ran back at the wolf and it pierced its neck without much difficulty.
I was gasping for breath at this point. I confirmed that the wolf was killed but when I looked up I noticed the two other wolfs that were slowly making there way towards me started to speed up.
"Shit!" I cursed under my breath as I quickly started to search for the magical core in its body.
After a few seconds I finally found it. I gripped it in my hands and trued to absorb it like earlier.
'Please..come on..' I thought as I saw the two wolves getting closer.
One of the two wolves was about to pounce on me but I suddenly disappeared and reappeared a bit farther away.
"Holy shit" I shouted as even I was surprised by the sudden increase in my speed.
The wolf used too much force on that attack and couldn't stop itself when I dodged and hit the floor.
Seeing what happened I wanted to try and finish the wolf before it's partner caught up to us.
I swung my knife at a speed that I wasn't prepared for which resulted in my grip being loosened and only being able to stab the wolf's stomach.
When I pulled the blade out of the wolf's stomach it yelped in pain. I noticed that the blade was even more chipped than before.
Seeing that the second wolf was about to attack me I tried to dodge but got a slight cut on my arm.
Using this chance I swiftly counter attacked by swinging my blade in an arc motion resulting in a large cut appearing on the wolf's stomach.
Seeing I injured both of the wolves I tried to retreat back a few steps. I probably could have finished both of them right there but I would have most likely gotten a bad injury which would have made fighting the actual boss even harder.
Using hit and run tactics I was able to defeat the pair of wolves in around ten minutes with light wounds with the worst one being a bite mark on my arm which wasn't that serious.
I sat on the ground sweating profusely and gasping for air.
I crawled towards the bodies and started searching them for magical cores.
"Found...you..." I said while panting.
I held the two of them in each of my hands and tried to absorb them. After a moment I felt a power enter my body revitalising me.
I could feel myself become a bit faster and even my senses got sharper.
I stood up and looked towards my summon which was clearly losing. I was surprised it could even last as long as it did honestly.
I gripped my blade only to realise that the blade is almost completely chipped away. I hesitated for a moment but I ended up throwing the blade away and walking towards one of the wolves I just killed.
I bent over and pulled out one of their fangs to use as a weapon.
"It's time." I said as I started running towards the boss monster while ordering my summon to distract it.

Not_FBI Sorry if this chapter seems rushed but I wanted to release it as soon as possible...
A lot of people are asking for more chapters so I’ll probably start updating again...
