บท 83: Their Lies

The two of them have decided to pretend that Gu Xin Ye might be injured and would need Qin Zhan's help to carry her around.

She stayed quietly as Qin Zhan carried her back to their vehicle, worried that he would actually throw her down. 

Her arms wrapped around Qin Zhan's neck and her head was pressed against his chest. They were so close that she could hear Qin Zhan's breath. Surprisingly, even after carrying her around for a few minutes, Qin Zhan did not sound as if he had lost his breath.

Gu Xin Ye began to admire Qin Zhan's stamina.

She pressed her ear to his chest and listened to his steady heartbeat. Then, Gu Xin Ye began to realize that the situation they were in was a little strange.

Even if she was pretending to be injured, he did not have to carry her in his arms, right?

This pose... it was what they called a princess carry.

But... being carried like this felt nice.
