บท 378: Not Over Yet

Vyrena protracted her sharpened claws and barred her sharpened teeth. The twin-headed lion prepared to counter-attack as well. The creature was about to let out an ear-deafening roar. She knew the moment it roared, the immortals and other creatures would be alerted of her location. 

She could not take that risk. 

Opening her jaw, Vyrena was ready to spew a stream of fire. But what came out of her mouth was not burning hot flame. It was a stream of blue. It did not feel burning hot, it felt chilling cold. The two-headed lion was hit with a blast of wintery ice chill. 

The attack was at point-blank, making it difficult for the beast to dodge. It swerved its head to the side. The stream of blue chilling flames hit the other head of the two-headed lion. 

The instant it made contact, it turned frozen solid. The sudden attack caught the beast off guard. As the weight of the frozen head weighed down upon the beast, it could no longer support its body weight.
