บท 193: Realization

It was the first time Tom was visiting the base. The first thought that popped into his head when he first got there wasn't the fact that he may never step out of there alive, but he had thought instead, "This was where Germany grew up. With all these people." They all had a scary look, big men who were not afraid to show off their creepy tattoos. They were all Germany's family.  He thought.

What a cold place. He suddenly felt like his heart was being squeezed painfully. How much she had suffered. He couldn't even breathe here, especially with so many eyes watching him warily. How did she live here?

He followed quietly as he was being led by three men who didn't speak a word.

This was the path he had chosen. Even if things didn't end well, he wasn't going to regret it. His life was already a mess after all. His mother, his father, his stepmother, everything was a mess.
