Rob blindly moved further into the living room and slumped on the couch in total shock as he listened to all Alvin had to say about him to Melanie.

"Why can't I hear the other side of the conversation?" He asked in a shaky voice after listening for some time. He was grateful that the room was still dark, and as such, neither of them could see the shock on his face.

"Because the bug is on him and not his phone. We already have a couple of evidence against you, and coupled with this, you could face different charges that might keep you in jail for the rest of your life. Now, it is up to you to decide whether or not you want to go to jail alone or go with your partner," The cop said with a shrug.
