บท 390: You found Mian?
Yu Chen laughed upon hearing this and Xia continued, "Anyways, I have come bearing good news to brighten your day like the sun after a dark night."
"You have brightened my day just by coming here." Chen said, pecking his cheek. "But I really could use some good news." she continued.
Si Xia pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket and said, "Regarding the thing you asked me to find out. . . . . " "You found about Mian!!!!" Yu Chen exclaimed, jumping up from the couch and hopping from one foot to another.
Xia chuckled as he pulled her back on the couch, "Slow down tiger. I didn't really find out much. But one of my informers recognized her working as a bartender at a bar. Here's the address." He gave the piece of paper to Chen who unfolded it to see an address on it.
"She's a bartender. . . . " Yu Chen spoke in a small voice. "Hey, don't be so sad about it. I'm sure its just a side or part-time job. She's your sister after all." Xia spoke pulling Chen closer. Yu Chen nodded, "Of course. Even I did a lot of odd jobs in London. Anyway, what kind of a bar is this?"
"Why?" Xia asked, raising an eyebrow. Chen shrugged, "I am hoping to get a few drinks while I'm at it. Just wondering if I need to take you or Zenghai or whether just me and Hua will be enough."
Si Xia looked at her, "You're planning to go and get drunk again?" Chen cutely pouted and said, "Not to get drunk. Just go out for a drinks or two. Me and Hua could really use a girls' night out. We've both been so stressed lately." She nuzzled her nose in Xia chest and said, "Can we go, please?"
Xia sighed, "Fine. The bar is a fairly safe place anyway. It's a high-end place, preferred by a lot of rich heirs." Yu Chen beamed, and Xia added, "But seeing your knack of getting in trouble, I would prefer if you took a bodyguard with you."
Yu Chen gave him the puppy eyes and said, "Come on, we'll be fine. You said it's a safe place." "I said fairly safe."Xia mumbled, but he knew he was going to give in. He could never resist those eyes anyway.
Three days later. . . . .
Yu Chen and Xi Hua both stood in front of the bar and looked at the place. Chen whistled as she looked at it up and down, "I can see why rich heirs love to come here. This place is charming." Hua chuckled and said, "Says the one who's gonna charm the most men tonight."
Chen rolled her eyes, "I have no intention of doing anything like that. And by the looks of it, you'll be the life of the party tonight. Not me." she said, looking at Hua up and down.
Xi Hua was wearing a silver high necked sleeve-less top with a black mimi-skirt and leggings underneath. She had on silver high-heels and her mud-colored hair fell down to her waist in beautiful curls. Hua also had on pretty eye-makeup and dark red lipstick.
