บท 333: I love you Chen
Xi Hua came out of the bath looking very fresh with her hair still a bit wet. She walked in the kitchen and asked, "Can I help with something?"
Yu Chen smiled and said, "Don't worry. I just have to get the dessert ready. Go sit down for a moment, you've just come back from work."
Saying this Chen had turned around when Xi Hua suddenly hugged her from behind. "I love you Chen. And... welcome back." Hua said, laying her head on Chen's shoulder.
A lump formed in Chen's throat. She patted Hua's head and spoke, "I love you too. But don't let the boys hear that."
Xi Hua chuckled as she tickled Yu Chen, "I wonder where their fantasies will run off to."
Chen giggled and wriggled out of Hua's embrace. "Now go and dry your hair. You'll catch a cold walking around with your hair all wet."
Xi Hua rolled her eyes and mumbled, "Look who's talking." as Yu Chen pushed her out of the kitchen.
As Hua walked out, the doorbell ran.
"Could you get that?" Yu Chen called from the kitchen.
Xi Hua nodded and opened the door to see Huo Zenghai, still in his work clothes, holding a bottle of wine. "What was the urgency that you didn't even have time to change your clothes?" Xi Hua chuckled as she hugged Zenghai.
Zenghai planted a quick kiss on Hua's cheek and pushed the bottle in her hands before running off in the direction of the kitchen.
He rushed into the kitchen and hugged Yu Chen and exclaimed, "Chen!!!! I love you Chen!!!! You made dinner for all of us!?!?!"
Yu Chen chuckled as she flicked his forehead, "How many bottles did you finish before coming here?"
Huo Zenghai laughed as he let go of Chen, "It's been ages since I had your cooking!?!"
"I'm going to have to talk to Xia that his employees are losing their memories. I just made lunch for all of you today." Chen chuckled as Xi Hua coughed from the kitchen door. "Ahem. Your girlfriend. Standing right here." she said.
Huo Zenghai flew over to Hua and wrapped his arms around her, exclaiming, "I love you so much Hua!!!!"
Xi Hua laughed, "Okay. That's enough buttering for one night. Where's Xia?"
"I don't know. He told me to come ahead. Said he had to run to his home real quick." Huo Zenghai replied, scratching his head.
Hua raised and eyebrow and Chen shrugged. She then said, pushing them out of the kitchen, "Now go. Torture someone else with your PDA. I stil have to see to the dessert."
Yu Chen was done cooking and was already setting the dinner table when the doorbell rang again. "Finally!!!" Xi Hua exclaimed as she went to open the door.
Xi Hua opened the door and said, "Hey Xia!! How come...." Her next words stuck in her throat seeing the person Si Xia was with.
"Who is this!!!" Hua exclaimed, but the next instant, she composed herself and smiled, "Come in Xia. Dinner's almost ready."
Then leaving the door open, Xi Hua almost flew to the dining room where Chen and Zenghai were setting the table.
"Hii Hua. Why do you look like you've seen a ghost?" Zenghai chuckled as Xi Hua came into view.
