บท 235: Punishment
As the elevator doors opened, Xia's mouth fell open. Loud rap music flooded the whole lobby and quite possibly the whole building, as the elevator was sound-proof.
Si Xia looked at Yu Chen, who had stopped leaning on his arm and had now taken his hand, leading him towards the main lobby.
Si Xia: "Oh my god!!!!!"
Yu Chen grinned, "What was impossible to do with only a what now?"
Si Xia's eyes turned warm upon the sight of Chen's smile. He lifted his free hand and pinched her cheek, "I got my lesson. You are the queen, hell, goddess of hacking. Could you stop the music now?"
Yu Chen flipped her long hair. Si Xia rather liked this motion. He found himself wishing that Chen would really grow out her hair.
His attention was grabbed back by Chen's words, "You learnt your lesson. But the punishment is still left."
Si Xia dreaded the look that had come on Chen's face, "What punishment?"
Yu Chen smiled sweetly, "Why? Walking hand in hand with me to the main entrance?"
Si Xia was dumbstruck. Walking hand in hand with Chen could never be considered a punishment, but when she had such music playing..... Si Xia shuddered to think how many stares he would attract.
Yu Chen began to lead Xia across the main lobby towards the entrance.
It was nearing the end of office hours, so most of the employees were in the lobby, either wrapping up or submitting their work.
Si Xia kept her head straight at the entrance and his hand firm into Yu Chen's hand and walked quickly.
But Yu Chen seemed to be thoroughly enjoying this. She slowed down and smiled and waved at the employees, and even moved her head to the rap music.
The employees of Xia's company were dumbstruck upon seeing their boss leaving in such an intimate way with a lady. The incident of a few days back was still fresh in their minds and their gossips when Yu Chen had kissed Xia on the cheek a in the main lobby.
Though of course they did not know that the two woman were the same as Chen was disguised both of the times.
As they walked out of the building, Si Xia looked at Yu Chen with a pitiful expression, "Was that punishment enough?"
Yu Chen laughed as she switched on the tablet once more and her fingers moved like lightning across it. Soon, the music stopped and Chen switched it off. "Don't forget what I told you about upgrading the security." She reminded as Si Xia's driver brought the car.
Xia dismissed the driver and the two got in the car.
A few minutes later...
After a very fast driving on Si Xia's part, and a lot of horrified expressionless on Yu Chen's part, the two had made it to the airport before Sam Darcy's flight had arrived.
Yu Chen stood at the reception lobby with her head in her hands and making weird expressionless, and Si Xia hovered over her stroking her back.
"Look we made it in time." Si Xia said, trying to cheer up Chen.
Yu Chen: "I'm not sure that I'm this much excited to meet Sam."
