But, the fire was soon brought under control by people of the Business Houses. It certainly was done very quickly, and the fire department didn't have any chance to move in for help.

Hence, the ruckus died down pretty soon.

It didn't cause any suspicion among any people as the place held a lot of valuable stuff, and it could go up to several digits. A fire in such a place was obviously devastating. So, it didn't come as much of a surprise for the people that had controlled the situation on their own this quickly.
