Don bent his legs and got into a stance with his left palm facing and his right arm backwards as he clenched it into a fist filled with Haki. His body exuded a feeling of confidence like no one else.
After all this time, it was such a natural feeling for him to use the art he was most famous and adept in, the Fishmen karate.
He was confident that in this whole world, there was no one stronger than him in this art. That was his pride as a Fishman. And if there was such a person somewhere, he would challenge them to a fair match to decide the outcome.
In front of him, with such a fierce charging momentum, was a giant eight-legged scaled lizard.
But Don didn't panic at all. Instead, he waited calmly as he kept a steady breath and concentrated on his next attack.
"ROAR" Just when the lizard gave a roar and was about to bite him whole, He moved.
His speed wasn't something the lizard could see, and Don appeared right on top of it and swung his retracted arm with his veins bulging from the strength coursing through him.

The punch landed on top of the lizard's head, and for a single instant, the surroundings quietened… right after that, a deafening blast resounded throughout the whole place.
Don's fist actually broke its scales and its blood splattered around as its huge form was thrown into the ground getting buried in a crater.
"Fuuuuu… One down is it?" Don muttered to himself as he surveyed the surroundings. He had been fighting it for a while now, but it could be said from the crew, he had a small advantage in this fight, because the surroundings were filled with
His whole crew were fighting large amounts of such beasts. But he wasn't worried about them. He knew their strengths, and as such there was no need to doubt them.
He looked at his next opponent.
"You guys are quite strong… I'm starting to enjoy this." He muttered softly.
But deep inside his eyes, a manic battle intent was brewing.
This time a snake beast charged at him, and it released a roar before charging an ice beam and releasing it at him.
Don wasn't impressed. He gathered in his pam a ball of water.
"A master of fishmen Karate can control water as if it was part of his body… That includes changing water to ice."
The ball instantly changed from water to ice, and from a ball shape to an ice spear.
"Come!" He yelled with a grin.

While each of them found these fights to be quite hard, it was actually still all right. After all, this was just a test, so these beasts were not giving it their all with the intention of killing.
But it was still a decent fight that if any one of them relaxed their guards they would lose.
Among the crew, Elene, Aokiji, Robin, Stella, all had the easiest time, it just took them time to beat them.
Their newest member, Reiju, was the one who had the most trouble.
Not because she was weak, no. but rather her expertise and strongest point relied on her ability. Which was to use poison. But these beasts were capable of freezing the air and the poison, even when she landed good shots on them, they froze the area quickly and it didn't do any damage.
She had even used her poison to create various shapes and attack with them, but they didn't work much when the beast could just freeze them.
As such, she was forced to rely only on her physical strength, which had been upgraded to a huge degree.
Reiju jumped backwards as she evaded the tongue of a huge frog beast chasing after her.
The tongue held enough strength to leave craters whenever it touched the ground, so Reiju knew that she could only tank a few of those hits.
Her body naturally had its exoskeleton her family were famous for, and it had been upgraded to an unprecedented level from before. But even so, she wasn't sure she could tank more than 10 strikes from that beast.
Her poison also got much more dangerous than before.
But if she can' land a strong hit for her poison to take effect she couldn't do much…
She flapped her wings as she shot backwards once again dodging another strike.
"Tsk! You think I'm a pushover? Let me show you what I can do." She was annoyed at this frog beast that seemed to look at her in mocking.
She grits her teeth and charged forward.
This time she didn't dodge the incoming strike towards her and didn't move anything except using her suit to accelerate even further.
Once the tongue that appeared to be similar to a thrown Iron pillar, was about to touch her, she brought forth both hands forward and hugged the slimy tongue with her arms fully covered in armament Haki.
Not a second later her hands started to get frozen due to the beast using its ability.
She clicked her tongue and barked.
"Annoying! Just wait there and let me smash you around." She yelled each word before she flexed her arms breaking the ice instantly, and then she started to lift the beast by its tongue and started to rotate it around before she finally smashed it into the ground after she gained enough momentum.
The beast created a crater as it fell on the ground heavily, but it appeared otherwise unharmed.
Still, She hadn't let go of its tongue just yet.
"Haha, let's see what you'll do now." She evilly grinned.
And from her wings, a poisonous cloud was emitted and it started to change shape and divide until it had become tens of large poisons spears.
And with a simple order, they launched at their full speed, straight towards the frog's open mouth and impaled it.
And even though they impaled it, the damage wasn't actually physical as no blood was seen, instead, as if to prove that, the beast immediately fell asleep as soon as the spears dissolved.
"Tsk, you're lucky you are on our side and this is just a test… otherwise it wouldn't be sleeping poison I'll use." She muttered to herself annoyed, but then recovered and smiled since one of her teammates had come near her. Aokiji.
"Hey, Kuzan, how about we team up?" She asked him since her ability will make it easy for her to fight.
