Like fire works, the explosion was so beautiful it was almost on part with a million fireworks placed together, exploding in harmony.

Like a massive grater grinding every in its path. Everything yeas reduced to mere molecules without a single particle bigger than an atom present within its sphere of the massive explosion! 

As for David, he was incredibly lucky his physique was stronger than the smallest star at the moment. Otherwise, he would have been grinders to mere molecule.
