David was taken aback."Who said anything about being afraid?"

"I was only trying to figure out what Demi-God gene the person might possess." David tried to explain but then, he was reminded of who he was talking to, Hazel.

She would tease and humiliate him whatever chance she got which included this moment. He then proceeded to ignore her. Since he couldn't win an argument against her, he would remain silent.
