บท 264: Work Harder than Those Devils

"He disappears again?" Xia Sha asks Fu Qun in a low volume right after she walks down from the stage. 

Fu Qun nodded as they stared at the big screen on the stage. Instead of Xiao Zhan's presence, they need to play the marketing video for Futuria Hotel. Xiao Zhan, who should be talking after Xia Sha, suddenly disappears. Again. 

Displeasure hid beneath Xia Sha's smile as she clapped her hand along the guest as the preview ended. Truthfully, Xiao Zhan's irresponsible image slowly faded after working together for months. Out of millions of possibilities that could go wrong this night, Xiao Zhan's disappearance never crossed her mind. 

Xia Sha has been anticipating feeling annoyed hearing Xiao Zhan talk as if the Futuria is his idea. But when he left the spotlight all for herself, Xia Sha did not feel as fulfilled as in their practice speech. Weird.
