"Tia what are you doing?" His majesty looked at his daughter and with a tone that sounded like he was used to this.
"Err nothing? I was just... um... ah! Yes, I was looking for father to ask if I would be permitted to... um... go train my magical abilities in the mystic forest."
"And what makes you think I would say yes or even believe your excuse for you eavesdropping hmm?"
"Ah.. Err.. well, well I wasn't lying about wanting to go train in the mystic forest ha.. hahaha"
*Sigh* looking at his daughter the king just sighed. How many times had this scene played out he wondered to himself.
"Just so your aware Tia you've already used this excuse and the last time I allowed it I received a report on how you 'secretly' went to one of the confectionary cafes in the capital and ate all of their stock. Not only that you haven't even denied the fact that you were eavesdropping."
"Ah.. I.. um... I'm sorry father I was just curious as to how the situation is. I just want to be able to help you."
"Right... yeah not buying it. What do you really want?"
Looking at her father Tia just wondered how he was able to see right through her. Normally Tia would give up at this point as she knew her father was not one to be tricked but she really needed to get his permission for this. It was the most important thing she had to do and see if it was what she thought. So she decided she will resort to 'that' method if need be.
"Okay. But I want you to promise me that you won't be angry with me nor will you reject the idea right away without giving it a proper thought." This is the only thing I can do to hopefully get father to listen.
His majesty just nodded his head to show acknowledgement that he agreed to her request.
"I was to go to the Goddess's blessed lake to see this creature that has been blessed."
Taking a second to process what she had just asked he instantly shook his head. Why would he allow his daughter to go on a dangerous journey to the blessed lake just to see the creature?
Looking at his daughter he saw the famous sad watery eyes that would have anyone break under the pressure from seeing them. No! Not this time.
He was already too soft on his daughter. He had agreed to not marry her off nor give her any responsibility regarding the nation just so that she could focus on her magic.
"No Tia. It's simply too dangerous for you to go even with guards. I know that you are strong enough to hold your own against high rank beasts but you've never fought against intelligent beings such as the humans or orcs. It would be like sending you to your death and I'm not prepared to send my own daughter into that."
Tia looked at her father and felt a warmth she didn't feel other than when she was with Anna in her last life. She hadn't be fortunate enough to know the warmth of someone else other than that little girl in that hospital room. But that person who she shared that warmth with left her old world and now the chance for them to be reunited here is highly likely because of this creature who she thinks is a good possibility of being her.
As she prepared herself for a back and forth disagreement between herself and her father a beautiful feminine voice came from the single door Tia had fallen through.
"My dear husband why don't you allow Tia to go? I don't know about you but my mother's instinct tells me that whatever it is that Tia wishes to do there it's very important to her. Isn't that right my beloved daughter?"
Turning their gaze to the door a beautiful woman stood there looking at the two. This woman is the queen, wife of the king and mother to Tia.
When Tia had heard her proposal her eyes sparkled like gems as she nodded furiously.
*Giggle* "See? She has her reasons and I'm sure if I assign four of my special guards to her they will be able to deal with anything that blocks them."
Tia's mother is known as the Sword Goddess. She was the captain to the elite elven guard while also being a dukes daughter. She was well known through out the world as someone you didn't want to face in a fight. Even more so when the Orc race knows her not as the Sword Goddess but the Bloody Queen. She had singlehandedly destroyed a small army of 1500 orcs with just her and a few of hers specially trained guards.
*Sigh* his majesty looked at his wife then to his daughter. He had a look of reluctance but decided not to go against his wife. He had remembered Tia speaking a phrase that she had picked up from only Goddess knows where 'Happy wife equals happy life'. Ever since then he had stuck to this policy to the word as this one phrase enlightened his whole life.
"Fine but just as your mother had said you are to take at least four of your mothers guards and follow what they tell you to do to the letter. Understood?"
"Yes father! I love you!"
Happy at hearing his daughters words he let out a smile as they hugged. His wife and the other officials smiled warmly watching this scene before they both separated and Tia ran to get ready.
"Please Aria make sure to tell your guards to protect her no matter what. There are a lot of people that would do anything to get their hands on her."
"I know my dear husband. She is my daughter after all and I wouldn't accept my guards not giving it 100% when protecting her. They know what would happen if they were to fail me fufufu."
Everyone in the room shivered hearing her laugh. Although she doesn't admit it but Tia is her favourite child. Not because she had the highest potential to become a strong ruler or warrior but because of her unique personality. Even since young she had been different to all her other children and Aria took a great liking to that. Now this doesn't mean she doesn't love her other children, no, but they are all like her. They are all very overprotective of Tia and if they ever see her harmed then Eldran may as well resign it's self now.
Meanwhile Tia is in here room frantically throwing her room upside down collecting all the things she would need for the journey. In her head the possibility of meeting Anna was the greatest thing that could ever happen to her.
Quickly packing her things she left her room to find her mother's guards and set off. Quietly whispering to herself "Anna is it really you? If so I promise that I will never leave you again and this time we can truly love each other even if you are a giant lizard now hehehe."
