A man near the door took pity on him and answered, "Boss has already taken care of the Guerilla gang matter. He doesn't have to tell you anything you know." Saying that he walked away quickly.

Ron muttered under his breathe, 'I am that useless now? Poor me.'

Drood and Brood were twins and the most powerful men amongst the Lucifer's people. They practically were Lucifer's bodyguards.

Brood was a cheerful man and liked to talk and tease people, whereas Drood was completely opposite to him. He never said a word, unless necessary. He would only converse with Lucifer and not anyone else. Even he talked very less with his twin brother.

Both the brothers were orphan, whom Lucifer had found in a warehouse. They were like his brothers, who accompanied him throughout his journey from childhood to adulthood.

Lucifer found them heavily injured. He tended to their wounds and brought them back with him to his house. He was 12 years old at that time. Thus they were together for 15 years.

Drood and Brood were the names given to them by Derek. He found both of them amazing, hence decided to name them the same.

The names had the particular reasons. As one of them usually worried about Derek due to his nature, hence he named him Brood. While the other one was silent and never bothered himself with Derek, hence he named him Drood.

Ava had called Jennifer and told her that they were leaving for the company.

Jennifer arrived at the entrance with her laptop and some files.

All of them walked to the company.

Ava handed Jennifer a bag.

"I know you will be hungry. I had the hotel pack lunch for you. Have it when you are hungry."

Warmth flooded in Jennifer's heart. She really liked her new friend.

"Thanks Ava." Jennifer gave her a sincere smile.

"You should smile a lot Alissa. It suits you." Ava responded truly.

Even though Jennifer's makeup was hideous, her face looked a lot more nice when she smiled. It is said that if a person is beautiful then his or her beauty shines even in his ugly form.

"Where is your brother?" Jennifer asked Ava while entering the elevator.

"He has already been here for half an hour. He may be waiting for you on the 40th floor." Ava chuckled and winked at Jennifer before hurriedly getting off at third floor.

Jennifer laughed at her gesture.

On the 40th floor,

Jennifer hurried in the room, given by Matthew.

Jennifer opened the door and what greeted her was a scene of a man sitting on a chair looking through some files.

The light from window illuminated half of his face. His sexy collarbones were highlighted and his posture made him look like an Angel dropped from the heaven.

It was true to say that Emmett was a very handsome and sexy man.

Jennifer gulped subconsciously, she did not want her previous self taking control over her.

Jennifer cleared all the those thoughts from her mind and made her way towards a chair, sitting opposite of him.

She knew that the man will not speak, unless she will start a conversation. Hence she first spoke, "I have an idea with me. I have jotted down the important points. Let me know if there is something missing. Here, it is in this file." Jennifer showed him the file and surprisingly the man did not reject and even took the file from her hands.

Jennifer was perplexed. Didn't this man had the habit of taunting her whenever she spoke.

She did not know that he would be this serious during work.

But it was true to say that he looked damn handsome, when he kept his mouth shut. At least it was like this for Jennifer.

She was the first woman with whom Emmett had spoken more than three sentences. Even if it was his mom, he would always answer in a sentence. This of course implied except for work.

And in the morning, Emmett was just bend on teasing her.
