บท 48: Chapter 5 people cannot outdo people, as there are no limits in this universe

"Elder MengPo, we just want to know what happened in your court. It seemed that one of our clan members had caused trouble." The suave Qiu MarKe, said diplomatically. His wife had given a distress call towards their Mirror of Communication, she told him Mother Tree telepathically told them that LiHua had disappeared and she could not trace her, which was very uncommon.

Mother Tree even though had the strongest link with her First Daughters, could somehow have a faint trace of her descendants, so having that thin link suddenly broken, she frantically informed her First Daughters. After losing one of their daughters, every clan member was vigilant to protect the females. HuiSan cried inconsolably at the potential loss of her granddaughter; she had lost her daughter and now her granddaughter that her Lim HeQi was at equally at loss, hugging her, both seeking solace in each other's embrace.

Seeing that MengPo was being stubborn and ignored the Gold Peach Clan leader, He FeiQuan, saluted and suggested respectfully as if he was not shackled by MengPo iron like arms, "Replying Elders, Elder MengPo is about to escort me to the Palace for a request to meet with Jade Emperor, how about both elders come together, so this prince, could explain in my best knowledge of what just had transpired."

"Hmpf! Whatever! You want to follow can, so long you don't air my dirty laundry, and tell others my court's incompetence!" With a flick of her sleeves, she flew forwards towards the direction of the Heavenly Palace, one arm still clutching on to He FeiQuan.

Qiu MarKe nodded to his nephews, Wu ZhiYue and HuoRi, and they followed quietly, after throwing a glance at the mysterious masked immortal that disappeared in thin smoke. Qiu MarKe noted in his heart, there so much more that he did not know about immortal world. He had to know more about the powerful entity, especially if he had an interest on his grandniece.

Facing the Jade Emperor, He FeiQuan relayed how LiHua had tried to save a friend of hers from the rebirth pool and accidentally falling into herself. He was too late by then to dissuade her from transgressing into MengPo's Court of Wheel of Rebirth. He FeiQuan gave MengPo a bow of apology from entering into her court without proper paperwork and his inability to stop someone from falling into the pool. He asked for Heavenly punishment.

With a respectful salute towards the Ruler of the Celestial realm, Qiu Marke stepped forth, "Jade Emperor, Little LiHua is brash and it is our responsibility as her elders not to teach their young one's proper manners."

"MengPo, please accept my bow as an apology of our young one's transgression. Once we find our young one, we shall give you a proper explanation and our Gold Peach Clan owe Court of Wheel of Rebirth a favour," Qiu MarKe generously extended a favour together with his apology.

Wu ZhiYue and HuoRi followed suit and bowed to MengPo, to which the latter was slightly appeased. "I'm a forgetful person so instead of what favours, why not let me discipline the lass when she returns?" MengPo continued, "Jade Emperor, since my Court of Wheel of Rebirth was not under the jurisdiction of Heavenly law, instead of He FeiQuan receiving Heavenly punishment, I like this young one to come help me fix the mess in her court for few days."

"Thank you MengPo for your generosity and please advise this younger generation," He FeiQuan respectfully agreed with a bow, and followed MengPo after excusing himself from the Palace court.

Right before he took his depart to MengPo's court, "Young Prince of Esteemed Celestial Crane Clan, one moment please. LiHua maybe wilful at times, but she usually is very docile and let her elders know not to worry about her. Do you know the reason of why LiHua jumped into the reincarnation pool so impulsively?" Qiu Marke hastily asked him.

He FeiQuan thought hard and he replied, "Elder Qiu, regretfully this younger generation does not know. It had happened so quick that I had failed to find out any clues. This younger generation promise I would look for her after the task MengPo gives me to."

And the task being head of Security was another job that He FeiQuan added to his list of curriculum vitae and had took him longer than expected to finish. MengPo's assignment for He FeiQuan was for him to fix her security system starting from the entry. It had taken him few days to go through the existing security protocol and improving the flow of beings from point of entry to the pool.

On the fifth day, MengPo finally cracked a smile, "I'm right. It does need a young mind to tackle current problems." She finally dismissed him after she found the queue looked neater and the arrangement was much more efficient.

Stretching himself when he stepped out of the barrier of the Mount Tai, He FeiQuan took out the pouch that LiHua had shoved to him. He opened it and saw 'Help keep these in custody for me' scrawls of words that looked like it was written hastily over the fruit's treasures. He fisted the pouch grudgingly and started to think of where to start looking for the troublesome fruit, who had entrusted her treasures to him and wanted him to look for her in mortal world. It was like looking for a needle in the ocean.

'Whom should I ask regarding human lives?' Just as He FeiQuan was thinking hard, an idea came and he went find the rightful deity, who was in charge of human lifespan allocations and their destinies, the Director of Fate and Destinies, SiMing.

However, before he would start on his quest to look for his friend, his body was in need to rest after the endless tasks he had done for MengPo ever since the fruit left her trail of disaster in the immortal realm.

The lord came back to their stationed fort looking thunderous. The bullhead, NiuBa, Flying Fox, PiXiu, and the two-headed snake, SheLin, looked at one another, they had known when their lord had furrowed his brows and suddenly disappeared was due to none other than their young little miss.

They had thought that the young miss was safe in the Celestial realm since the lord had looked calm and collected as usual. Where could young little miss this time again?

The frowning lord had a bad premonition when the last thought he received from her was that she wanted to find out why. Who was she looking for? Without the Heartstone, it was most difficult to find her, not knowing which empire and which household she was reincarnated to. Since she was in mortal realm, he called forth the Crimson Wolf network.

Not knowing where she was and how she was faring was almost driving him crazy from worry. Finally, he told NiuBa to take charge, while he went to personally look for her.
