บท 28: CHAPTER 28
It was in the evening, Adam's father had not been back from the meeting that he went to do with his business partners that came from United Kingdom. Adam had got home around 3:00 pm and he was cooking the food that he would ate when his stepmother too was cooking for her and husband.
Adam was in the living room watching movie and used to go to the kitchen very few minutes to check want he was cooking, his stepmother was in the the kitchen when one of the twins started crying and she ran out.
"Oh! My baby!, am sorry!" Carried her and started singing for her and took her to the kitchen to check the food that she was cooking. She just step inside the kitchen when the second baby started crying, she ran out put the one in her hand down and carried the one that was crying and started singing for her.
She had sent the housemaid an errand whom could also assisted her to take care of the babies. Adam's phone started ringing and picked it.
"Hello!" Adam said.
"Hello Sir, you ordered me to call you!" Voice of a guy said.
"It's true, to tell you that am not coming to work tomorrow"
"Okay Sir!, no problem Sir"
"So do all the necessary things and keep the proper document of everything done and don't let other know that I don't come for work to fast and not to take advantage of that"
"Okay Sir!, I heard you and I will done as you said"
"I trust you!" One of the twins started crying again, their mother ran out from the kitchen.
"Am sorry! Am sorry stop crying!" Knelt down with them and petting the one crying also feeding her.
"These children are crying seriously, I will call you back"
"Yes Sir!" He hang up and looking at the twins.
As she was petting the first one that was when the second baby started crying and they one petting too didn't stopped crying, she had fed up and didn't knew what to do.
"Let me check the food that am cooking!" Adam said and stood up.
"Please Adam!, help me to switch the light under the food. I will come now to check it" Adam didn't replied just went to the kitchen. He came out after twenty minutes.
"Have you done so?"
"Are you talking to me?" Asked with lower voice.
"Yes now!, I told you to switch the light under the food that am cooking. So have you done that"
"I don't know am the one you are talking to" took a rag on the floor.
"So! So!! So!! You don't---" put the baby down and ran to the kitchen, Adam too followed her. It was rag that he would used to carried the pot down that he came down to the living room to took.
"Oh! My God!, the food have burn!" Felt like crying.
"You better start cooking another food for father!"
"Get out! Nonsense!" Said with strong emotion.
"In my father's kitchen and father's house!" Said with anger and Serving the food inside the plate.
"Oh! God, what is this. It's almost all the food that burnt!" Adam looked at her and took his food left the kitchen. Just down to the dining room when the door opened and his father entered.
"Welcome Dad!" Adam greeted with respect and put his food down.
"Adam! How are you and how was work today?"
"It was fine Sir, so how is the meeting goes?"
"Great!, all of us agreed together. Where is my wife?"
"In the kitchen Sir!" Got a bottle water inside the refrigerator.
"Okay!, let me go and change!" Just took a step when she came out.
"Welcome my husband!" Said with dull voice.
"What happened? You look dull and stressful!"
"It's the twins!, their trouble is too much!"
"What happened to them?, I can see they are sleeping now"
"Just sleeping, they are just crying controllable. Looking after them, petting them and also checking the food that am cooking"
"Where is the Dominated?"
"I sent her to my friend's house to collect something for me, she should have gone since morning but my friend was not around"
"Oh! Sorry for that my wife!" Said with lovely voice.
"The one that pain me most is that Adam didn't provide any assistance just sat down there and looking!"
"Assist you in what?, Daddy! Are you not there that day that she said I should not touch her twins again"
"Yes! I remember very well!"
"Okay! I said so, what about the food----"
"What happened to the food?" Her husband asked.
"All the food that suffered to cook burnt!"
"So!, what consign me about that! What it's my own?"
"I told you to switch the light under it, did you?"
"No! Because you can go and do it by yourself now!"
"Why don't you Adam! And let it burnt"
"I too was cooking and I can't let it burnt when checking other!"
"In the same kitchen!" His stepmother said with anger.
"You should have go rather than shouting now!"
"It's okay!, I will wait still you finish cooking another food"
"Thank you my husband for your understand!" Went back to the kitchen and Adam's father went to his room to changed. Door opened and closed, the housemaid entered. Greeted Adam, he replied and went to the kitchen to his stepmother.
"Well done Ma, am back!" Dominated said.
"Thank God you are back, let me have it" collected a leather from her hand and opened it.
"My friend just like packing extra things anything time I bought something from her!" Said with smile and put it on the table.
"Domina!, quickly be doing that for me"
"Okay ma!" Walked to the zink.
Adam had finished eating, packed the plates to the kitchen and he was in the living room watching movie when his father got down and sat beside him joined in watching the movie.
"Adam! You are not going to work tomorrow or going anywhere!"
"Why Daddy?"
"You know that tomorrow is the naming ceremony now!"
"I know but I have a very important meeting with OPG company"
"Tell them to come here and do it after the naming"
"I have already told them that I will come even they called today before I left the office to confirmed"
"Why is that it's you going there, they are the one whom need our help and they are the one that suppose to come not you going--"
"I just think to go even am the one that plan it like that!"
"But you must be present in the naming ceremony"
"All those people will be expecting me now!, father"
"Told them that you have something important to do and choose another day, they are the one need your help so they won't have choice than to agree with you"
"It won't good! Daddy let me go and if I come back I will ask of the names"
"You must be present, you can't leave everything for your stepmother"
"It's just small party now!, or it's not?"
"Yes, just to call the Alfa and do it inside the living room here"
"I can go now, even it's not me that will give them name!"
"Just said the truth and even I don't know your problem!"
"What Daddy and like how?"
"You don't want to be present there right!"
"If you said so Daddy!" Said with lower voice. Dominated got down to the living room.
"Well done Sir, Madam ordered to tell you that she had set your table"
"Okay!, you are back and when is that?"
"Like some minutes ago Sir!"
"Okay!" He stood up and went to the dining room to have his lunch.
