Since that incident happened Mrs Tayo always visited her friend's house, Mrs Olotun and used often. She got down to their living room where her husband and the children were, she dressed in a nice blue gown going to her friend's house to plan on how to do the forty-one days of her dead husband.
"Love! Am on my way"
"You are about to go! Drive safety" he said.
"Yes my love and I will"
"Bye! Don't stay long, okay!"
"Okay! I heard you, bye!"
"Bye Mom, bye Mom" Bolu and Titj said.
"Bye! My lovely children!" She left, door opened and closed. Sarana had went back to school just came home because of the incident.
She arrived to her friend's house after one hour, it was a sound of her car packed that Olawale heard from his room and got down to check and opened the door. Mrs Olotun was the living room rested on the chair when Olawale got there and opened the door.
"Good afternoon Ma" Olawale greeted.
"Afternoon! My son, how are you?" Put her bag on the table and sat on another chair beside her friend.
"Am good Ma" going back to the room.
"I think you are taking care of your mother for me? Not that you will just sit in your room and left her here"
"Am trying Ma" he laughed and went to his room, Mrs Olotun sat properly and face her friend.
"My friend, welcome! And how is everyone at home?"
"They are all fine! How is your body now? I hope the pain have gone; beating yourself on the floor"
"No more pain, am good"
"I think you are not think again?"
"Yes! Am not, my friend and thank you for everything! For be with me!"
"You are welcome! And what are we friends for if we can't stay with each other" Olawale came down back.
"Ma! What do I offer you to eat and drink?" He asked.
"I am okay for now, thank you my son"
"Okay Ma!, you are welcome" went back to his room just came down to ask of what to offer her.
"How Is Sarana and her siblings?"
"They are fine in good health, even they sent their regards"
"Sarana have went back to school?"
"Yes! It was because of the incident that was why she came home and she had went back a week after"
"Okay!" Rested her back on the chair.
"What brought me here is how to plan on forty-one days of your husband?"
"Oh! It's true! The day is just fasting"
"So! How are you planning it? How did you want it to be?"
"I don't plan anything! May be we can start now, even I don't remember"
"It good then, how do you want it to be big or just small party?"
"Small!!! I don't want big party, just call few people and celebrate it little"
"Okay! We should use small hall or use this living room?"
"I think we should use mosque!"
"Mosque!" Looked at her.
"Yes!, all the Alfa will be there with you and your family including me and my son just pray for my husband"
"It good! So once that it's small one what type of food should we cook?"
"Let rice! Me and you will cook it and pack the Alfa along to mosque"
"Okay! It good and no problem"
"I am not happy that my husband dead at all!" Said with lower voice.
"Nobody is happy that he dead at all but there is nothing we can do it's all of us that will dead"
"That one is sure!, it's sure"
"Olawale! Is not going back to U. S"
"Yes! He have to take care of his father properties"
"I hope he is able to copy with this our weather?"
"It's everyday that he used to complain that why is place hot like this, that is why I just on the A. C and left it for him"
"It's not easy!, it is like fish living inside the water and bring it to the land"
"Yes oh!, and he had been living in U. S since he is eleven years old"
"Ah!! He has to complain even seriously" two of them laughed.
Olawale came out from the bathroom and sat on the bed continued watching the program on the television in his room and eating biscuit; after few minutes he took his phone beside him and calling his girlfriend Zinara.
"Hello my love" Zinara said.
"Hello! Love, how are you?"
"I am good and how are you too?"
"Am good! How is mom and Dad?"
"They are all fine! How is Mom?"
"She is fine!, are you with your parents"
"No! I went out to get something from supermarket" Zinara said.
"Okay! Send my regard to them when you get home"
"I will!, how is the weather over there?"
"Bad! Very bad!!, the weather is so hot for me" Zinara laughed.
"My father too use to complain about it, can I speak to your mother?"
"No! She is with a friend and the living room, May be later"
"Okay! May be later, when are you coming back to U. S now?"
"May be after forty-one days which is tomorrow"
"Come back on time, I have missed you!"
"I will and I miss you too" said with smile.
"How will you do the properties? What will you do to it?"
"I have think about it, I will put someone in charge of it who will be like an agent"
"And you think your mother will agree?"
"Off course! She will agree, I must come back to U. S tried of this bad weather"
"Okay! If you said so and I will be respecting you"
"I will call you back late, so take care of yourself for me"
"I will, bye! And you too take care of yourself"
"Bye! I love you with all my heart"
"Love you too!" He hang up and smile.
"Zinara!, I will be back soon" put the phone down and continued watching the program.
