บท 33: Ronald is still a wife pleaser

Susan and the maid left the dining hall, walked past the large and spacious living room, turned at a corner and arrived at a room that was currently occupied by their guests.

Seated on a large couch, Carlos Carmichaels and his goddaughter Gwen were waiting for the audience of his long time best friend and business partner Ronald. He was expecting to see his friend but to his imminent surprise, he saw Susan approach instead.

Rising from his seat, Carlos greeted Susan warmly.

"Oh, what a wonderful surprise Susan. How many years as it been? Good morning." He said with a huge smile as he hugged her, politely giving air kisses.

"Good morning Carl. Yes. It has indeed been a very long time, fifteen years maybe?" Susan responded with a smile of her own as she returned the air kisses.
