บท 280: Burning Tears!

Tabitha saw the exchanges. The sight rendered her paralyzed and all she could feel was the burning tears trailing down face. To hear that Hawk had married another woman, not her, broke her heart in ways no one could imagine. However knowing the world they walk on, the world where the Monsanto's stood, she knew marriages like that were inevitable. She easily picked up her shattered heart and patch them together again with the consolation that it was nothing but a marriage for convenience, not love, cannot be love at all.

How wrong she was. 

Seeing how Hawk Monsanto felt helpless under another woman's touch, her heart couldn't find any more excuse for redemption. He had never seen Hawk Monsanto being helpless, not even when he was a child of seven with no money and family to protect him. There was no moment of frailty that she remembered of him.
