บท 27: 27. The Black House (2)
The fight Jay is watching ended with the victory for the man whose head was covered in cloth. He knocked his opponent unconscious. But still, even with his victory, one can see that he got some noticeable bruises and he is tired.
A bald man stepped in to the ring and handed the man his prize. After that, the winner exited the black house. When that man passed by near Jay, he can sense that the man is truly strong.
The bald man, who seems to be the one who manages the ring, announced something that made the crowd cheered.
With a microphone, the bald man spoke.
"Ladies and gentlemen, our undefeated fighter has woken up and itching to have some fight".
When he said that, the crowd laughed. The fighter that the bald man is talking to was the only undefeated fighter in the black house, and also a man under Crisanta. Jay didn't witness his strength, but judging from the record of nine wins and zero losses, he though he must be strong. He was nicknamed as Godfighter.
The bald man continued, "Our Godfighter didn't fight for some time and now he wants to enter the ring. Any of you who wants to challenge may feel free to do so. The reward for this time is quite big", the bald man smiled.
Soon after, a man with normal builds stepped into the ring. He may look ordinary, but seeing him, Jay can feel that behind that seemingly normal body, there is a strength powerful enough to defeat anyone. The Godfighter immediately gained some cheers.
"So, anyone who wished to fight our Godfighter?"
All went silent. Who would want to fight with these monster? That record alone showed how strong he is.
After like an eternity of silence, a man stepped down and went to the ring. Almost all the crowd cheered.
The man who stepped in to the ring is calm and smiling. He even greeted the Godfighter.
"Nice to meet you, Godfighter. I am called Sin in the dark zone. I wish to have a fight with you", the man who is called Sin bowed down.
"Nice meeting you Sin. I hope you will make the fight interesting", the Godfighter replied.
The crowd made a countdown and the fight began.
Godfighter first moved and moved towards Sin, intending to deliver a side kick. Sin who seemed to read his movements evaded the kick. But as soon as he moved, another kick followed. He didn't expected it so he used both hands to block the blow. Godfighter is fast!
Jay who saw it was surprised. That two kicks are delivered really quick.
The fight continued with Godfighter gaining the advantage. But still, he didn't managed to make a fatal blow to Sin since he evaded it or just block it. In actuality, Sin really can't find a way to retaliate.
Brutal!
That is one word that he can use to describe the Godfighter. As he avoided some of the attacks, he found a chance and used it to send some punches followed by kicks. But Godfighter blocked all of it.
Although Sin could keep up despite being at a disadvantage, eventually some blows hit him hard without a chance to fight back. His opponent is fast and strong. Godfighter literally gave Sin no chance to fight back. Although Sin could send some of his attacks, it was all pointless.
Soon, Sin was pushed back and surrendered. He knew that if the fight keeps up, he will tire himself.
The two the bowed to each other. The fight ended. Godfighter's victory. The audience, even Jay, was amazed at his speed.
"You're really strong, Godfighter."
"You too Sin, but it seems I am stronger."
Sin just smiled and returned to his seat to rest.
In Jay's mind, he is deciding if he will go and fight the Godfighter. He also needs to go home after sometime and he wants his fight to be finished earlier. Looking at the Godfighter, he made up his mind.
Fight!
