It went without saying that if they didn't get the hell out of there, the most optimistic amount of survivors after their arrival would be counted on the fingers of one hand.
Perhaps it was because animals have keener senses than humans, but the felines' fur bristled in unison as their usually placid gaze turned westward. Mufasa and Shere Khan were no exception, and they subconsciously snarled westward in warning.

Arkinslize I received a question in a comment about why it seems like Jake is the only one using his scan. It's a good question and obviously other Evolvers use it too.
It's just that it costs a lot of money and their scans aren't nearly as good. However, if they have enough Aether it's not hard for an Evolver with an Oracle Rank of 10 or more to scan an area of a few miles. The reason why Jake is such a big spender is because his 27 tons of liquid alloy drastically increases the power and efficiency of his bracelet. The billion in Aether he earns every day is another obvious reason.
There are some changes in the bracelet after the Fourth Ordeal that are unfavorable to Evolvers and that touch on some of the issues raised earlier, including the fact that the Oracle tends to be generous to beginners, but tends to adjust prices to their true value after a certain level. I haven't found the excel file in which I made a table of all this back then (probably buried somewhere in my old computer) so I'll try to redo it this weekend. I'll put it on Discord for those who are interested.
I also have another excel file which gives directly the Real Stats (effective stats) according to the Aether density, the Aether and Body stats for those who are interested.
