Looking at the iron weapons in front of him, Glass took a while before he decided on buying an iron sword for only 20,000 Valis. Picking it up, he felt that it was somewhat heavier than the preferred but since they had no money he had to make do with it.
He then held the iron sword and spoke to the owner, "I'll take this" who replied with a simple "Very well then"
After paying for the iron sword, Glass left the weapon shop along with Bell and Hestia. By the time they left, it was already noon so they headed to the Hostess of Fertility for lunch. When they arrived, it was as busy as per usual making it hard for them to squeeze in.
Finally getting a seat after finding it themselves, Mia Grand herself handed them the menu as they ordered. "Greetings Hestia - Sama" she greeted.
"Thanks for having us" Hestia replied as Mia stared down at Bell and Glass who were sitting next to Hestia in that order and deciding what they wanted to eat.
"Heh, so both of you joined the same Familia?" she suddenly said to them in which they both nodded before telling her what they wanted for lunch. Shortly afterward, Hestia too chose her dish as Mia went into the kitchen and prepared their meal.
The three of them talked as they waited for their meals as Mia Grand came back with their dishes piping hot. She then smiled as she headed back into the kitchen while their trio feasted on their meals.
When they finished their meals it was still early. With nothing to do the three of them journeyed around the city as Glass memorized the places they had gone through. By the time they finished touring the city, it was already getting dark.
They then went to buy a simple meal for dinner before heading back to the church to rest for the night. That night, Glass made sure to prepare everything that was necessary before Bell and himself would head into the Dungeon for the first time.
Making sure that everything was ready, he smiled before heading to bed for the night.
The next morning, Glass woke up early as he washed up before woke up Bell who was still sleeping soundly. When he entered the latter's room, he saw a large figure hiding underneath his blanket and smiled before saying, "Hestia - Sama, please wake up"
Yawn!
"Just five more minutes" she slowly replied in a drowsy voice. "No can do" Glass said as he flipped the blanket over revealing the Goddess sleeping on top of Bell's body.
When the two of them woke up, Glass waited for them outside as he sat by the steps and stared at the sunrise. After a while, Bell came out fully equipped in his armor with his dagger on his body as Hestia followed from behind him.
"I wish you two luck" she said as she saw them off. "We're off" they said in unison as they turned around under the light of the sunrise and walked off with the light casting over their backs. Hestia watched them leave the entire time and stayed there even when their silhouettes were gone before she closed the door and headed inside.
Bell and Glass who were fully prepared headed for the Dungeon. After walking for a while, they finally arrived at the entrance of the Dungeon. Around them, not too many Adventurers were there since it was still early in the morning.
The two looked at each other as they slowly walked inside and headed towards the first floor.
After a short walk, the two walked by while watching their surroundings for any movements. Walking around the cave-like Dungeon that was glowing blue everywhere while the ground beneath them was green they prepared themselves in case of encountering their first monster.
Glass had done some research and found out that the first to the fourth floor contained only Goblins and Kobolds. Since they had just started, it was perfect for them to fight such monsters.
As they walked, Glass heard movements around him as he whispered to Bell, "Bell, I heard some movement not so far away, it seems like there are two Goblins one for each of us. Are you ready?"
Bell took a deep breath and nodded lightly as the two of them took out their weapons and headed towards the two Goblins not far away from them. Walking closer, they heard screeching and crying noises from monsters as they began to see the figures of the two Goblins.
When they saw the Goblins, Glass immediately rushed towards one of them with his sword in his hand. The Goblins noticed him as both ran straight toward him at the same time.
Clash!
His sword clashed against the Goblins' small claws as a metallic clashing sound could be heard. Just as the second Goblin reached out for him, a white figure flashed by and blocked its path using a dagger.
Clang!
Shree!
The Goblins shrieked as their claws were stopped as Glass kicked the Goblin sending it flying back a couple of steps as he slashed out.
Shree!
Drip! Drip!
Plop!
Blood oozed from a large wound as a green hand dropped to the floor with blood dripping from within. Glass didn't stop his attack as he closed in with a couple of steps and went in for the kill. With a single swing of his blade, the Goblin that was just crying out in pain dropped onto the ground in two halves before turning into dust and leaving behind a dark crystal on the ground.
