บท 1: THE CAVE
On this infinitely huge universe there are a lot of mysteries that humans can't answer. What's the purpose of life? why do we exist? what is consciousness and a whole bunch of other things that humans are yet to find the answers for the so-called big mysterious questions?
Well…there are a few…. wait a lot more questions that are yet to be questioned. It's a long journey that time has chains on us, though our mind is free to travel across the boundaries of the universe.
Long story short, let's actually move into the story (the starting content is simply for fun, kind of related to the story.)
Milky way galaxy- Solar system
Earth (No one knows who named earth Earth)
YEAR 2018
Somewhere on the planet earth (Forest)
There is a cool breeze, the leaves on the branch of the tree are shaking (IDK why I said that, it's probably cause that's how most of the stories I have read start). Nearby there is a small cave. Inside two people can walk side by side. The cave can't be found unless one concentrated. Suddenly the dark clouds come out of nowhere. The thunder strikes the earth. Drop by drop the water droplets touch the ground, as if the mother Earth is welcoming it.
Deep inside the cave. There is this huge throne which is made of stone. On the surface of the throne there is a delicate rune which gives beauty to it. The person who observes it will be mesmerized by the charm of the character.
"At last, I guess my time's up…. well soon enough."
There was an old man on the throne. Those eyes give the vibe of thousands of years of wisdom. If any person sees the vivid eyes of this old man, it's like he can solve any mysteries of the world. He wore a loose gold lining robe, which gave him an old aura around him. Like the people from centuries. If people from modern society see the dress he is in, they sure will mock him. Old people sure love to cosplay.
'CRACK' The thunder strikes again.
"Well, let's wait for the one to appear… well soon enough."
As he says these words, he seems to disappear in thin air. In that split second as he was disappearing, we can see a black mask appear on his hands.

On the exact same time.
In United States of America
NASA HEADQUARTERS.
Deep inside a secret room of the headquarters (they sure have a lot of secrets). Only higher officials are allowed inside. In this room there are chairs arranged in rows and columns. It looks like a gallery in a college, where each desk has a monitor. The people are busy observing the readings from their satellite.
Suddenly the readings from specific satellite goes above the threshold reading ever recorded. Few monitoring devices on satellite gets short circuited and even the satellites get damaged. This has never ever happened in the history of human kind. Just the device monitoring the energy level on the surface of the earth, which is orbiting thousands of kilometres from earth can't handle the energy signature for a split second. Simultaneous few other satellites get damaged.
The people present in there has a chill down their spine. Cold sweat drops from their forehead.
Immediately they informed the higher ups. An immediate emergency meeting was held.

Inside the emergency meeting room.
"What happened? why are all the higher ups as well as the military here?"
A NASA higher official asks this question to his colleagues.
"I am not sure about, but I heard even Mr. president is coming over. I guess this meeting is due to a human level extinction threat! NO MAY BE EVEN WORLD LEVEL EXTINCTION THREAT!!! Because I read in a secret record. They only pull up this kind of meeting only due to high threat. But let me tell you this kind of meeting has never happened before."
One of his colleagues replies to his question.
There were all kinds of rumours and whispers going around the room. Exactly after ten minutes the president of United States of America walks in.
Immediately when he walks inside, we can hear pin drop silence. He takes the seat in the middle. Which presents power, authority of the most powerful human leader in the world.
The atmosphere inside the room turned silent and we can hear the heavy breathing of the people. The person who break's the silence is the president.
"Before the meeting starts let me make it clear that this kind of meeting has never been done in the world during modern era. Which means we require everyone's support, which means everyone in the world."
When the president utters these words the people inside the meeting room started to swallow their saliva.
"I am saying this because I want all to know the seriousness of this matter and this matter should not be leaked no matter what the cost is. Before we continue, can anyone mind to explain this problem to others present here, I guess most of them don't know the exact content."
After few seconds an old man stood up. His age was around 50 plus.
"Good morning president and to everyone present here. My name is Robert. I am one of the head of NASA. Everyone may not know me because there are many things in United States of America which should not be made public."
More than half of the people inside the room has to keep their identity hidden due to security reasons. Even the name Robert is an alias.
"Yesterday night around twelve. Multiple satellites of NASA around the world got sight of high-level energy signature."
As he was spoke those words a high-level military official spoke up.
"So, the satellites got sight of energy signature. Is it the work of NK or Illuminati? I guess they were testing nuclear weapons in a huge number."
"If that was the case it won't be big issue."
Robert told this as he continued.
"But there are three issues in the case we face.
The first one is-In the split second the satellites got sight of the energy signature, the monitoring devices and instruments got destroyed! Many satellites are badly damaged. Only few are still holding up.
The second one is-The energy signature was not located. The satellites weren't able to get the location.
The third one is-The amount of energy level recorded, if we compared the energy level to our nuclear weapons, it's like a child's play in front of it. It is an infant in front of a fully grown adult. But we can't be sure, it can be even more powerful."
"SO, THE THREAT IT POSSESS IS OF WORLD LEVEL EXTINCTION THREAT."
As Robert says these words the room turns silent. Cold sweat appeared on everyone's forehead. The high-level military official from before spoke up again
"Robert!! So, what you are saying is, it's the end of the world!!??"
"No, it's not going to be the end of the world because we can guess the opposite party is not hostile towards us."
"WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU TALKING OR EVEN THINKING! It's not going to be the end of the world, then what else. You pick up a high level of energy signature, which is even more powerful than our nuclear weapons. Then say the opposite party may not be hostile towards us!"
Suddenly another military official stood up and spoke.
"We say that because we have a solid explanation. First, I will explain the magnitude of destruction it can bring. Let us imagine our nuclear weapons can bring down a city, then the power the opposite party possess can bring down whole DAMMMMMM PLANET."
"That is to turn the whole planet to dust."
As Robert told these words, everyone in the room experienced a chill down their spine. Even the president experienced it. This is because a city is just a small point which can be neglected compared to a whole planet and the city is just a tiny surface of earth.
Robert continued "So if the other party can easily bring the entire earth to atoms. Then it won't take much of the power to bring down a nation or a continent for them."
After Robert finished speaking the meeting room turned silent. This continued for couple of minutes.
After a brief moment the president spoke.
"Initiate 'PLAN X' send as many satellites to space which has been already stored in the facility. The first priority is to find the location and the species- But I guess it's not from an alien species because we got it from earth. Still send satellites to monitor the surrounding space and one more important thing, all this must be done undercover, meaning it should not be made public and don't make the public to panic."
As all present in the room were discussing the preparation and counter measure.
A person entered the room and whispered few words into Roberts ear and submitted a report. Robert went through the report. A shocked appears in his face. The president noticed the shock in Robert's face.
"I guess Robert has something to share with us?"
"Yes president, I told the staff members to go through the NASA records of data over the decades but due to limitations of technology and science in past compared to what we have today the data been insufficient… still we found a clue."
As he told these words everyone in the room got his attention.
"Go on I am hearing."
"From that report, we found that the frequency, wave length and many other scientific factors match the data in past- But the energy level was very small which is observed as luck in the past"
"Hmm! So, this is not the first time this kind of energy is released. When was it?"
"On the year 2000."
