บท 3: Shadow Fire

its been three years since Gino and I unlocked our magic Gino's fire magic has gotten really strong she has such control over her flames she can choose whether it burns something or not I still can't manage to summon a single spark. I sighed heavily and Gino hugged me from behind "you'll get there I know you will nobody is stronger than you" said Gino. In the distance was loud rumble like a thousand horses stampeding. I and Gino rushed to the edge of the forest to discover the hot spring had erupted and is overflowing down the mountain causing the river to become larger. "What do you think is happening? could the whisps be causing this brother?" said Gino in a concerned tone. It doesn't feel like the whisps could be the cause. "Its sekrin," said sensei from behind us "who is seeking?" said Gino the look on her face went from concerned to scared. Before Sensei could answer her another loud boom came from the bottom of the mountain I saw smoke come from there and I felt the pebbles hitting me from here. Gino and I rushed towards the base of the mountain as we reached it we saw a rather tall women who looked to be in her early thirties she had long black hair and rather big breasts. I was about to ask who she was but before I could from behind I heard sensei growling like a dog protecting his home "ahh master luu I knew if I caused enough noise you show yourself" said the women with an evil scowl on her face. "How dare you Sekrin what do you have to gain from this" said sensei I could feel his anger. "why would you do this this was the whisps home and you just destroyed," said Gino sending a flame at skin it was a big one and I could feel the heat it had Gino wanted to incinerate skin. Sekrin sidestepped the flame "you stupid brat how dare tries to hurt me"skin screamed it reminded me of how father used to scream at me, Gino. All of a sudden I felt my hands get hot I had done it I had summoned shadow fire Gino looked at me her face went from scared to surprised "you did it Alex" Gino said. Sekrin got even angrier shooting a bolt of water at Gino hitting her and knocking her unconscious. "In all, my three hundred thousand years I've never seen a human use shadow fire before" skin exclaimed her face became more flirtatious "How would you like to come with me little boy ill make into a man ill let do whatever you want to me" skin moaned. I felt myself getting angrier and angrier "You think that after you've hurt Gino like that you'd think id leave with you? you're a fool skin I love my sister and I would never abandon her" I shouted angrily. with this much anger boiling inside me I felt like I was about to explode my shadow fire flames got hotter and hotter. A concerned look crossed series face she getting walking backward as I went towards her she fell back and landed on her back. "You have two choices skin either leave or burn" I screamed through my teeth and just like that she disappeared into a puddle of water. "Big brother," said Gino flatly my anger suddenly washed away "Are you okay Gino? Are you hurt? I asked but she didn't answer she was unconscious again I picked her up and carried her back to the cave. I kept thinking over and over again I have to get stronger I have to protect Gino she said she wanted to be my wife and me never to wanted her to be but now I cant about anything else than having by my side it might be wrong but I don't care I just want gino to be happy. The next morning came and it felt like forever I couldn't sleep gino still hasn't woken up I decide its best to train.Since I can summon shadow fire now sensei tasked me to hold the flame for at least three hours so I held it from morning till the next morning I felt it take a toll I was tired like all my energy was taken and I fell asleep against a tree. Its been three days and gino still hasn't woken up "I'm getting worried sensei what if doesn't wake up" I said on the verge of tears sensei didn't reply he handed me a piece of cloth that had been some warm water I used it to wipe ginos face clean her face quivered as I did this and she finally woke. "Gino you're finally awake" I yelled with tears streaming down my face. "Are the whisps okay?" said gino quietly. "The whisps are my concern Gino I thought you were never going to wake up I thought id never hear your voice again," I said with still streaming down the face. Gino hugged me she started crying too "you really care that much about Alex", "of course I do you idiot"It been a week since the attack and the spring returned to normal after I placed some heavy rocks to keep the water from flowing down the mountain "finally I get to take bath" said Gino excitedly. "oh brother i get to wash your back" gino sang at the top of her voice I laughed "what's so funny" said Gino with an annoyed tone "nothing its just I'm glad that your happy" I told her. Her face went bright red "well are gonna let me wash your back or not"
