บท 424: Surging Undercurrents

Wei Ying was escorted out of the bar by the five men, and they bumped into Ye Chen as he was getting out of the taxi. 

"Mr. Ye," the men respectfully greeted him.

They did not belong to Dragon Soul, but were part of a reserve team that happened to be carrying out a mission near the capital.

This was also the reason why they had arrived so quickly.

Ye Chen nodded, after which the men left. Their mission had already been accomplished, so there was naturally no need for them to stay here any longer.

"Did you drink?" Ye Chen's voice sounded a little displeased.

Wei Ying was afraid that Ye Chen would scold her, so she quickly shook her head.

"No, I didn't. I just came here to take a look. I don't want to drink, really."

"I'll believe you then," Ye Chen said calmly.
