บท 123: Did the ghouls hurt her?

The light falling into the cave is fading slowly. Droplets of water freeze on the cold wall of the cave as the temperature begins to drop. He inhales the wet air, brushing the back of his hand on his cheek. 

How long does he have to wait here?

He hasn't expected the familiar to accept his request for meeting Nell. 

Zachary Krauss leans against the wall, lifting his head as he places his arm on his raised knee. He takes a deep breath and closes his eyes, thinking about the past.

Isabelle Solomon is the mother of his daughter.

His daughter is Nell Solomon. 

When he was living with his family, he always felt suffocated. They had too many expectations from him. Someone who could wield the power of the moon was admired more than people who had the element of the night. But his parents could never understand that even the moon had a dark side.

He ran away because he wanted to find his freedom.
