บท 116: So Different

"Twinkle~ twinkle~ little star~" Nol starts singing.

Belen is startled when she hears his deaf tone singing, "…he's not that great of a singer…Nol is nothing like Noah." After realizing that Nol is a terrible singer compared to Noah, who she'd often admired his singing voice, Belen couldn't hide her disappointment when faced with reality, "how are you two so different?" She couldn't help but chuckle as her body relaxed.

He could feel her body ease up as he carried her down the stairs, carefully calculating his steps because one misstep can hurt both.

Belen had a moment to reflect on her rude behavior towards Nol when she recalls her conversation with Everest the night before.

Flashback

Belen is sitting across from Everest in the 2nd-floor living room when he apologizes, "Sorry, Belen. For,...well, I know I shouldn't have a say in this, but I want to give Noah's brother a chance to live here until he can properly meet Noah."
