บท 42: Hero 02 - The First Adventure

"It's doesn't feel right."

I, Gong You, have become the head of Gong family and inherit my father Baron, the few month after turning to six years old. My asshole father retired after the his clan business met its demise, and fall bankruptcy. That bastard sold his business to the EA company, and run away, leaving the clan without the leader. I been forced to replace him by my uncles, later then flee like my old man, letting me holding the responsibility shouldering the debts that haunted the clan.

You must thinking that I will suffer from that situation, right? Sorry, but the EA company, were said the most influence merchant in the rich Fiery City settle down all the debts of my clan and helping me to rebuild it. The funny thing is I been granted a teleport gate in my territory, and economic investments from new city called Bavalotia. It's like a dream come true, or I finally encounter my greatest chance like typical hero.

My living place in a small room when I been disowned by my own father now changing into the big mansion, my clan house that been renovated by EA company. I given a sum of money monthly for profit sharing on the company that been run by them. They also paid the servants salary in the house, the foods cost, my education fee and any transaction of the necessities that I needed.

I asked them why they doing this, and the answer is my mother becoming the high ranked personnel in the company. My mother did writing about her fortunate after meeting with the owner of the company and given chances to improve our financial situation. But this is too extravagant for her, even buying the family business by just being a worker to a rich person. By the way, I tried to use the gate and meet my mother, but prohibited to do that as I need to learn and educated in managing my region first.

With the money I got, I repay back the people who helped me when I was in difficult time and promote their business into international by involve in the export trading. With the existent of the teleport gate, the sale of product not only in this small country, Wibane, but through out the whole nation in the middle dimension. The family of my childhood friend, Micu, who involved in the business of the bread and bun product, suddenly become rich after I recommend them to the EA company. Yaya, my senpai can spend more time for me after given the permission by her mother who used to hate me in the past. Not to forget, Hyeo Yu, the girl who always cherish our friendship now living with me after her family agreed to work in my house as the servants. Micu and Yaya complaint about this, but I explained to them until finally they accepted the fact. Hyeo Yu smiling a lot lately, make my brain wonder why they acting like that.

The other noble child who always bully me in the class now talk to me with respected tone. Even the worst student in the primary school been polite to me. There are also the group of bullies that always make trouble when I do my part time job vanish without news out of nowhere. My territory safety risen to the level where the pub and alcohol premise became the peaceful place to chill and hangout with your friends. I heard the building of the wall around the perimeters of my region have decreasing the bandits attack.

The EA company have it's own special forces called Valkyrie units, with high tech armor, but shaped like the maid dress. I don't know who created that but for sure, he is the reincarnated person like me. The force quite powerful and even destroying the bandits base around the area. The EA company only doing business in my region, so the traders of my country need to visit my territory and resupply the company products here before selling it outside my place. The company open up the agriculture land to increase the food supplies. The most eye-catching plant is paddy, the most wanted list for me. The rice eater human like me missing this baby a lot and been thankful for this opportunity. By the way, all of the decision made by them, not me because I only the owner in name.

All the great things have the price. The price for all of this luxury are I need to finish the primary education within this year and entering the lower dimension for further studies in the cultivation world. The company prepared the special tutor for me to help my study. Honestly, the syllabus in primary school is not that hard, even the mathematics question far from the primary level. Yaya, Micu and Hyeo Yu join me for the special intensive class, confess their dream to enter the cultivation world as early as possible. I never heard about it before but I don't think too much because the more the merrier!

Micu who always help her family in her bakery now become much free after her business bloom, so she asked me to let her stay at my house. Well, there plenty of empty room, so I give her the permission, but after getting the green light from her parents. Unknowns to me, her parents hug me and asked me to make their daughter happy when I help Micu bringing her belongings to my house. Then, Micu smiling brightly, but the happy face of Hyeo Yu faded and as for Yaya, she even in upset mood. What the hell with them.

After awhile, I got a petition from the Yaya family, who is my territory neighbor and the small noble like me, a Baron, asking for my family to accept Yaya for maid training in my house. Without my consent, the company higher up give the bless to accept her, and now, Yaya happy showing her beautiful maid attires, while Hyeo Yu and Micu now turned into the bad mood. By the way, Hyeo Yu started to wear the maid clothes after that, saying that she helping her family doing the servants job, and followed by Micu, who wears it because wanted to repay for my kindness.

I wanted to pull my cheeks harder, confirming that my life now is not a dream. From frugal life, I living like the high class noble, you know? In the morning, I been wake up by those girls, with their face always near to mine when I wake up. I see that they competing to wake me up, but I really hope that they don't do that. My breakfast quite grand, sometime the East style and sometime the Western one. The spices that been used much better compare to other high ranked noble families. The chefs are imported from other place, and professional in serving the meal.

After that, we went together to school. Micu and me in the same class, while Yaya in senior year and Hyeo Yu in the neighbor class. I never had any problem or disturbed situation anymore with anyone, having great time learning in the school. No more rushing to the work, I return to home and having my lunch before begin the private lessons together with my friends. My private teacher is very good in educating us, making our understanding much better.

After that, we have a tea break and I have to attend the noble lesson, also from the teacher that been hired by the company. Yaya joined me for the class as we're fellow noble. Then I have my dinner together with them and all my servant. Honestly, the foods too delicious and make me wanted to have those meal every day, forever. That's why I giving my best to get good mark and enter the world of cultivation.

After dinner, I given time to do my homework, or reading session if I have none. I also allowed to write letter to my mother and read the reply before sending me to the bed. In the weekend, one day off, I will have to greet the noble around my territory by visiting them, but all the talking and negotiation will be done by the branch head manager in my region. I didn't have much time to do some adventure or playing with those girls but I promise them, later on in the lower dimension, we'll have much fun venture out together.

Finally, the examination period begin before the holiday season of the new year Darkness week. I answered the paper with confidence and manage to answer most of it correctly. Micu, Yaya and Hyeo Yu also same, satisfied with their efforts, and right now waiting for the results. When the results come out a day before holiday week, we found out that our name doesn't listed among the students who qualified for the graduation.

We worried sick but finally figured that we taking the special exam, to hop up year for graduation. We become the best student, scoring the highest cumulative mark in the school history. We spent our one week holiday with joy, and after the happy moments ended, we participate in the graduation ceremony. Only me who doesn't have any relatives to share my joy together. My mother send me a bouquet of flowers and very expensive clothes for me, but couldn't attend my graduation ceremony because of her job. She work hard for me and making my life better. I shouldn't bother her, as I still have those girls, smiling at me, celebrating my achievement together as friends, and family.

After all the things happened, I need to prepare my journey to the lower dimension, where the danger always hunted us. My mother send me the S ranked sword, a good armor and some pills to help me in my studies. I using my money to buy those girls the suitable weapon and armor by asking the company. They provide all my request with discounts price, and it's helping me a lot. I give them the presents and they did like it. As for the armor size, I asked their parents. Those girls not wealth enough to buy those equipment, so I helped them. Their are like my own family, so I don't think much of the price as long as they happy.
